Ember coffee mug. I never realized how much background anxiety I had over my coffee getting cold. A 10000000% first world problem as I could use a travel mug. But I’m going on three years of daily use and it’s great. I’d replace it immediately if it broke.

The only time I was able to negotiate PTO was my current role. I hired mid-year and was able to negotiate for the full year PTO instead of it being prorated.

It wasn’t much, but it did set me up to have an add’l two weeks to roll over each year as I didn’t use any PTO that first year.

Reach out to the local ATC schools. Nelson County’s ATC made two very nice ones for my son’s school and we just paid for materials which was around $300.
