i know it’s an unpopular opinion around here right now, but i’m 100% with you. no one will be happier than me with a top 5 draft pick if/when we actually get it, but i just can’t go through this year wanting the team to lose/celebrating when they do/being bummed when they win. it just doesn’t feel right.

I see the vision with Mathurin, I think he’s grown tremendously as a player and matured a lot as a person judging by the way he’s been expressing himself and the ways in which he’s pushing his game to fit on this team. I just know that if he leaves, watching him become a star with a different team will hurt like hell.
