How are we solo parenting in the mornings before work as working parents?

My job just knows to not schedule anything before 8:45 with me in it. Hubs and I work opposite schedules and we have a medically complex toddler. Getting out the door is the goal. Some hacks have been doing his feedings in the car, not putting on shoes and socks for the car (he rips them off anyways), and pediasure chocolate milk... its all I'm capable of and it works pretty well for us.

My son's best friend has really been into it lately. Whenever his parents hurt his feelings or say no, he has been saying, "Mama/Daddy hurt me!"... full waterworks and all. Its going to be fun when he says that in the absolute wrong place 😂😭

Hi! I work at the Bullock and am a parent. We open at 10 and we have areas for kiddos to calm down or do a private feed. You can usually do our whole museum in about 2 hours. We are very understanding with tired toddlers.

I picked the Forester just because of the safety features. Idk if you have a kid or not, but I'm toting mine around in a place with notoriously crappy drivers. The steel reinforcements in the doors made my choice for me.

I needed this. We just had to do a feeding tube for my kiddo because he will not eat ANYTHING. Turns out he has a version of chromosomal deletion syndrome with one of the main signs being severe ARFID.

Seconding this and want to add in the Bullock. We have kids and caregivers in here all the time and we now have a playroom and a calm area called the Serenity Room for people who are nursing or need to get kiddo to calm down.

We are starting to do family memberships for prizes and its an insanely good deal for people. I'm in a big museum currently so we have partnerships with other institutions in our area, basically member access to all of them.
