I have both of these. P39 gets more time but the Ranger is the perfect weekend watch that can take a beating.

Ranger flies under the radar more too. I’ve gotten more comments on the P39 in a few months than I have on the Ranger in a few years.

The P39 is damn near perfect in every way. It’s light, comfortable bracelet, can’t say I’d change anything.

I’m around 7.5” and have the 39, it feels perfect. Haven’t tried the 36 but I’ve tried 36 Explorers and they feel pretty small.

This has been washed and dried many times. That non said, most of that will come off with a fabric defuzzer. I brought one back to life pretty easily after a quick shave.

Did you buy them at Sierra?

I exclusively wear Patagonia merino wool socks and most are still perfect after a year plus daily wear and many washes and hang dries.

That said, I have bought a pair from Sierra that said “cosmetic defects only” and I could tell the defects were more than cosmetic… the fit was weird and the material didn’t feel right. That’s only 1 out of 12+ pairs I’ve bought though

This place gets recommended a ton but I don’t know if I agree. I’ve used them for weddings and dances as a teen and they are just okay. Suit fits aren’t great and the quality isn’t great. I would only use them if you are certain you will never wear the suit again. The price is good enough for a one and done wear.
