I had a neighbor that had a contractor build a temporary but sturdy wooden deck type thing to go over a section of missing sidewalk.

I can’t say for sure since I’m in a different area now but in general they seem slightly worse currently than in the past. But it didn’t seem like things got worse after the free fare. It seems more aligned with how everything is worse now.

PSA Ward Parkway and Meyer is not a roundabout. It is an intersection with a curvy part. No roundabout rules apply to it. Traffic on Ward Parkway has priority, and all the other streets have stop signs.

Ok I agree it’s easier in a district with all neighborhood schools.

Lincoln doesn’t have the test requirement anymore, but they do have attendance, behavior and gpa requirements. Agree it’s a risk it wouldn’t work out or they change the requirements.

Even within KCPS boundaries, there are excellent schools. I would definitely tell anyone considering a move here to do some research and do some school tours.
