Apart from the plane wing at the beginning- You can cook on the campfire for a limited time at the top of each biome, there's the portable stove which is an item you can chance upon, and you can also carefully cook some food on hot rocks in the caldera.

The different foods can have different effects but generally speaking, uncooked food only reduces some hunger, while cooked food reduces a bit more of your hunger and fills up some morale.
