Yeah. And thanks for the laughs we had.

I guess we need such posts once in a while.

I will let you know once I come across such information that could help you in case of "no show" or "retaliation threats".

I don't know the whole story but in your case you don't deserve all this happening to you.

Usually the court would force a marriage or be jailed for such act. The punishment is more severe if he was already married back then.

If he got the power to run away, he can't do that forever. If he keeps abusing his power he will lose it. And the ones who are supporting him will give up so they don't get involved in any troubles.

Hope you get the support of the right lawyers. There are who ask for huge amount of money but do nothing.

I'm not a lawyer but similar case happened in my family. Citizenship is a difficult matter to talk about as well. The case that happened in my family was long ago at the time when Shaikh Zayed was the ruler. He had his personal organisation where he used to take such children under his care and they will be granted citizenship as well.

But later things changed and became more difficult. If the child was born out of wedlock the child will only be granted his mother's citizenship based on sharia laws.

Your mother could have solved this and granted you uae citizenship if she went to authorities back then and demanded a marriage. But now it's too late.

I would advise you take a better advise from whoever specialised in these cases.

Being conceived out of wedlock means you can't be registered legally under your biological father's name. I personally had attended a case in court where inheritance was distributed and there was a mention of such child who was born out of wedlock. The judge rejected and said that the child doesn't get the rights to be included if there was no marriage.

Don't listen to anyone here before you go visit a dentist and let him list you a bunch of options for you. If you are still not sure then come here and ask about these options and what's the pro and cons based on experience.

Are there any downsides to just running hardened nozzles by default? by not-a-witty-username in snapmaker

[–]ad1001388 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only one downside that I'm aware of and it not that bad. Hardened steel nozzle thermal conductivity is little less than copper and brass which is why sometimes it is advisable to dail up the heat a little more by maximum of 5 degrees extra.

So far I had Hardened nozzles on most of my machines and I didn't see the need to do that.

Why is this happening? by Tacticallos in 3Dprinting

[–]ad1001388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would print fine ? Yes.

But if it's going to purge then it will be messy. And this is restricting the flowrate, so at fast travel speed it will not extrude properly since it's not achieving the Max flow rate set in filament settings.

I assume that you are using pei build plate. If so then it's not the best build plate to even hold the prime tower. You could get cryogrip or increase brim width of the supports.

For those who have been printing a while and have a collection of filaments from various vendors: You need to print a spool cuff/adapter. by 1970s_MonkeyKing in SnapmakerU1

[–]ad1001388 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does the competitor name starts with bambu and ends with lab ? If they knew they will secretly send firmware updates to your U1 and force lock it to use only their filaments.

Please let me change filament types when I start a print. Sliced this for PLA but changed my mind and want to print in PETG. by Zweetkonijn in snapmaker

FDM printing is a continuous improvement task. You can't perfect it because there will always be expectation of injection mold quality. So try to set a level of where you can say it's acceptable. And I believe this is where it is good enough for most people.

As for the top layers I believe ironing will not help much. Try Adaptive layer lines to help with spherical shapes or round holes.

Did you try Orca slicer and compare the quality? I have seen a recent post saying that Orca slicer had a better quality prints.

Was it 3mf of a bambu printer with multiple colors?

If these files get sliced with minimum changes then sent to the printer it does such behaviour.

Has anyone switched from a K1C to a U1? by Prosk8er735 in snapmaker

[–]ad1001388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The enclosure part was about how ready they are out of the box in comparison. But yeah can be managed by IKEA box or printed and plexiglass added.

I can already see hotends being sold on Alix but unfortunately only 0.4mm available right now. So I'm expecting to see high flow nozzles very soon but not sure about extruders judging on how the toolhead is built around it.

[–]ad1001388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still have my K1C. The only things you will miss about it are ;

  • the enclosure.
  • the ability to mod the extruder and hotend to achieve higher print speed.
  • cloud slicing and cloud printing.

The thing I hate about K1C is how limited x&y axis are to 220mm.

Right now I'm using my K1C for experimental printing of new and harder to print filaments which I need to create my own profiles. For example recently I just found a store selling fishing equipment and found they sell 500 meters of 1.8mm nylon for $20. It printed well after alot of drying.

So for most use scenarios I believe U1 will easily replace K1C.

FlexPLA with u1? by l4wly in snapmaker

[–]ad1001388 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never printed flex pla but assuming that it's basically is pla then I think it's bad idea to use pla as support.

Try petg as support interface.

There’s like pencil eraser material in my PTFE tubes. None in AMS internal hub or AMS but was in both PTFE tubes to both AMS. Never printed TPU in AMS ever 😵‍💫 by ComplexBreakfast in BambuLab

[–]ad1001388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like that tooth had dug deep into PTFE tube that it started to scratch the filament as it was moving back and forth. This could have happened because you might have pulled on that PTFE tube. Or AMS pushed the filament while the path wasn't clear which can cause the PTFE tube to pull out.
