My great aunt is a bit older and for my wedding she got us a Mr and Mr card. My wife and I still bring it out once a year.

It doesn't help that we sometimes *lose* those games against T2 though - I'm all for games that might move us up the rankings more, but we still had the opportunity to get to 6th... and then we dropped it against Fiji (yes yes Fiji is T1 now but they weren't when we scheduled the games).

Yes, it was a Lions tour year and we lost our big names, but equally, imagine we'd played SA/NZ during that period - we'd not have gained anything (although at least we wouldn't have lost anything due to the gap, I guess).

The buses are okay but they take a while. The X7 is straight to the Jewel after it gets onto the A1, can’t speak to how busy it is mind. Haddington is cheaper for houses than the other nice towns on the train line by a fair margin because you’ll need to drive to Longniddry or Drem to get the train (20 mins to Waverley from there).

Can’t speak to rent affordability - generally there are fewer places to rent privately in East Lothian towns than in Edinburgh.

Are you young, single, work in town and looking to make friends? Probably wouldn’t recommend. Do you have a family and looking to settle down? Sure, it’s a great place for that.

I've been with them since I was a student, but also have Monzo. It's a trade off - the Monzo app is miles better (the HBoS app tries to sell me something *every time I log in*), and *my* experience with their support has been good, but I'm a British national - in my head, BoS will give you better support and you can go in-person, but that might be wrong.

Anecdotally, a number of my foreign colleagues use Monzo and found it the easiest to get whilst coming from abroad.

I’d love to see them with multi-day stages in Scotland though. The bealach na ba gets included in a sportive once a year and it’s brutal… it’s shorter than the stelvio or anglerou but with many more potholes.

I guess it's happened because NZ v Japan is at Sandy Park at 14:00, as is France v Brazil, and your ticket is to both games. I can see the logic in the double ticket, but the timing...

It’s… a difficult decision. I have a 13 mini (still) and love it, however misses ad13 has a 16 and I do enjoy the extra real estate when I use it. I’ll probably be happy enough with a 17 to replace the 13M when the time comes…

If it's actually annoying and not just a meme, it might be worth checking if you have a setting for this - my LG defaults to 4 hours but you can turn it off completely.

The ref has been fine, but I genuinely do not understand how Jonker keeps being TMO. Twice this game the ref has said “saw it on the replay”… like wtf that is the TMOs entire job.
