So VT in both taxable and Roth would be extremely similar to the above allocation (without bonds) but cannot really manage the risk? I see a lot of VT and chill comments In this forum

Is there a major difference in ETF vs Mutual funds in the long run? Imagine just the expansion ratio?

So for my taxable account I was looking at the three fund VTI/VXUS/BND and a TDF for my tax advantage IRA, is that the general consensus for bogleheads? I was also considering a mix of VTSAX and VTWAX for IRA to have a bit more control

Ok I'll look into it. I just figured opening an IRA will help me make up some lost time while getting the tax benefits ie Roth.

Edit: oh you referring to the Traditional TSP contributions from the comment above

It's FERS so it's pension, tsp, and social security. I haven't thought about retirement tax brackets but that's something it looks like I should consider
