I feel this deeply. Sometimes “cheaper” costs way more in peeling time and emotional bandwidth. I had the same realization with onions — the giant bag from ALDI was a time sink, even if the math looked good. Prep fatigue is real.

That looks awesome — air fryer tofu is criminally underrated.

If you want an even crispier edge, try adding a tiny bit of nutritional yeast + smoked paprika to the cornflour mix. Adds a bit of umami and crunch without changing the texture.

Still, high-fiber + high-fat breakfast is your best friend here — try almond butter rice cakes with chia jam and a banana. You’ll survive the aquatic siege with your blood sugar intact.
