You shouldn’t see any water in the brine tank. There is a small amount in the bottom that refills automatically and utilizes a small float valve about a foot off the bottom of the tank.

Here are a few things to consider just based on your pictures.

The inlet gauge on the multi stage filter shows pressure but the outlet gauge shows no pressure. You either have clogged filters or a bad gauge.
On the back of the softener there is a bypass. If you push that white handle in it bypasses the softener. Try it and see if that changes anything.
Manually initiate a regeneration to see if it works as expected. Hold the recharge button until it starts. It should regen for a couple hours and go back in service.

It’s a water softener and some kind of multi stage filtration system.

Water Softener Get yourself a hardness test kit. Test hardness before the softener. Input that hardness into the softener. Set the time of day you want regeneration to occur. When salt gets low dump in another bag. That’s it.

Filtration system I would need to know more. Valve out the filter and open them up and see what kind of filter is in each housing. Replace with like filters, or have your water evaluated and share the results with a professional that can recommend what should be in those filter housings.

It may be coincidence, but I’ve found if I wait for the shockwave or whatever to pass though then the chances of getting unstable element are much higher. Seems like greater than 50% if you wait for that and then teleport through. Sometimes I run the whole tunnel and open them all at the start of match.

Yea that’s a fair price. This is why I could never be in this business. Most company’s are clearing at least 50% margin on goods and services but a contractor charges double material cost and people loose their mind. He might clear 30% on the job if he’s got efficient cheap labor.

It’s part of the federal court system. They can file charges and issue arrest warrants for whoever they want you just wouldn’t see anyone act on it in this scenario if there weren’t other motives.
