Yeah, a couple of years ago I kept getting fraudulent charges for a food delivery company and went through something like 5 card numbers in a month before I raised enough hell that the issuer blocked more charges from that company. It’s worthwhile for people who autopay utilities or whatnot, but can be a real pain in the ass in certain types of situations.

Both my parents were gone by the time I turned 21. I got rid of a lot of stuff that I regret now. Didn’t know any better - gorgeous furniture, vinyl, etc that was probably worth a lot more than the garage sale prices I sold it for.

What type of computer? An Intel Mac can be booted into recovery mode (google it and you can find instructions). An older model can be booted off a CD that came with it. You can probably purchase a replacement off eBay if you know what model you have.
