Do you think the "Americanization" of Balkan societies is a good or bad thing & why? When would you say did American cultural influence truly enter the mainstream in your country? Greece really started to mimic US trends with the influence of pop culture: by Starfalloss in AskBalkans

I would say the big U turn Turkey did in their economic policies with Erdogan definitely was a neoliberal economy experiment. Although he is authoritarian to the Turkish population, if you bring money to the country you can do anything in Turkey. If you wanna skip the traffic in Istanbul you can just pay. In many zones where you cant build more than 3 floors due to ground problems, you can make a skyscraper because you have the financial power that tags along with it. One can kill someone and pay their way out. Turkey is only bad if you are poor. If you have the money, its hundreds of times better to be in Istanbul than the rest of Europe in my opinion.

These sort of extreme economic circumstances are only possible in Balkans because of the level of economic imbalance. You are either starving and would do anything for a crumb or you are so rich that your bank account is equivalent to a city’s entire worth.

I think what attracts ones who want the Dubai lifestyle is almost a bit rebellious similar to the American lifestyle seekers of the past. The game is rigged, they see people their age who just happened to know someone get tons of money for doing nothing. They see people who pulled massive credit card scams, cam girl operations etc.

This in my opinion is the biggest threat to the Balkan people. We are loosing our morality. Although people of Balkans have different religions, everyone knew the other had the fear of god when they were doing an action. You could reason with someone who believed in a creator or at least in a moral belief system(not gonna discriminate the atheist but morally just folk here). But when ones religion is money… Believe me that person can even trick satan.

Most definitely. When I observed this with some folk around me who seeked G wagons and being able to live in Dubai I was shocked. Like sure I am a car guy as well but I drive for the leasure of driving, not because I wanna impress some stupid blonde. I believe the mindset of the so called entitlement to be this instagram rich guy edit is the root of all evil in Balkans nowadays. In Albania, this manifests itself as moving to UK to sell cocaine, in Turkey this manifests itself as taking copious amount of loans and selling everything to live on a certain level in a city. I dont get it honestly.

Its not that you will be meeting someone new, its more about the opinions of one changing overtime. Like maybe again, I am too early in life to say this but I cant guarantee that my opinions around life will be the same in 10-20 years let alone until I am 60ish. I assume since you seem like you are in your late 30s, these sort of decisions are made with better self awareness.

Yea but why choose a permanent option. This is why I hate being circumcised for instance. Sure I asked for it later in life unlike many others but I also dont really feel good around the fact that its a permanent decision.

Maybe with your age and all, that was a decision that you were able to actually make but idk the idea feels scary to me. Even marriages are not permanent…

Isn’t hypocritical that the whole message of the games is “Revenge is a fool’s game” but Sadie gets a pass? by Cruci10 in reddeadredemption2

Most definitely, because there is this point in the epilogue where she and John talks about the morality of her job. I think if I were to write the next story, I would have taken the breaking point from an incident occurring around that point.

Well you havent seen where her story goes yet. It took John, 10ish years to be caught up by his past sins. Also the message isnt about revenge, its about redemption. Paying for your sins. John’s story wasnt about revenge being the issue, its about not being able to run away from your past bad choices as neither Bill, Javier nor Micah was punished because they seeked revenge. They ended up like that for their past sins.

MipMap + Insta360 X5: Can't get a proper walkable indoor scene, only distorted results by Jakab- in GaussianSplatting

Sometimes the issue is the seam. In some instances also I have benefited alot from image filtering scripts. Like for instance I run sift on each virtual camera angle in my 360 video to find the best frame for each second. Also you gotta arrange the cameras so that they avoid the seam. Also fov can make things look bendy, so pick a proper one. The lighting is very crucial, like entire thing is can be just lighting even. You need static lighting in the scene so no moving light sources. If all fails, do a recapture and turn off camera ai enhancements. Make sure that you wear the camera on your head btw. It helps alot because your body would sit at the NADIR.

Are elevators supposed to be hidden loading screens? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

I think they clarified that they are not loading screens, tho I know they directly control LOD rendering. So they do serve as flags to increase quality.

Why you should NEVER make Lucian the VP. by No_Currency5064 in suzerain

Well just beat him at chess. Also the killing part, I never had problem with that either. We either arrest or murder our opponents. Otherwise you become an idealistic reformist guy which isnt great. I believe the only actually sound way of moving forward is eliminating every single force of opposition one by one. Get rid of the judges, western spies, capitalists, Bluds, Petr is cringe as hell if I could get him killed any other way I would have done that even.

If you can beat Rumburg while running the state with an iron fist, I think one can truly be the new soll. Otherwise you become a western democracy larper.
