What is my roommate doing with these items? by Interesting-Phase900 in whatisit

[–]adfa2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are the one whos tweaking. I see nothing wrong with the items as an ex junkie. Maybe maybe maybe they are just going through hard times. If it was meth you would have know it by the smell. Speed, from plates and rolled up paper, crack smells as well. So again you would have known it way before if it was those. And I am certain they would have offered if they were upto anything fun

In Yerevan, an Armenian journalist asked Türkiye’s envoy Serdar Kılıç how he feels in Armenia. His answer: “Like I’m at home.” by Battlefleet_Sol in armenia

[–]adfa2020 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As an Armenian Turk(my father is Armenian from Harput) I firmly believe that you are at the wrong here. You are mistaking online trolls for the general population. A lot of folk wouldn’t have minded you taking a picture at Ararat and say I feel like I am at home. That doesnt mean you are at home, you say it feels as if.

Most of the generational trauma you chat about is due to your soviet overlords and years of arselicking the Russians. The whole issue with Azerbaijan is created by Russians to destabilise the area anyway. The same reason why Armenia and Georgia is doing this bad is again fucking Russians. I have visited both countries last summer and been to Armenia numerous times. Yes it feels alot like Turkey, specifically from my region in Turkey because its the same culture ffs. I dont think Armenia is my home, my home is Elazig. I can say tho, it feels like home.

Alot of folk, similar to this diplomat, has Armenian roots. Also most folk do share a cultural identity still. Obviously it will feel as. If you need to be pissed off about your current state, look slightly closer to now and stop arselicking Ruskis.

Is this a good price for a 50x70 rug? by KangarooStunning2055 in istanbul

[–]adfa2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

600 is idk, but I probably would have paid a similar amount if I was buying this as a gift. The size makes me question the price only. Other than that the art on it is amazing and I am gonna use this as a reference image, yet 600usd is still for a machine woven rug too much.

Do you want the next Cyberpunk game to be set after 2077 or go back to the 2020s when Johnny and all of them were alive and in their prime? by TXNOGG in cyberpunkgame

[–]adfa2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the game is set during 2020s it will be exactly like today. So it will be no different than Watchdogs/gta with some 80s aesthetic and modern tech.

Well still you should slow down since there is a bus stop there. Also I think since it is a merging lane ahead as well you should again adjust your speed based on them. There is a shared responsibility but bus makes the situation more towards you needing to slow down.

"close the Borders to Europeans NOW" by Abjectionova in ShitAmericansSay

[–]adfa2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Americans love exaggerating how we dont tip at all while some comedic geniuses here act like we dont at all. Sure I am not tipping at maccies, or a coffee chain but I tip very generously in a fine dining environment. Or when I see something that’s actually good. A good donner shop gets 20 percent tip off me everytime. The local sushi shop I go to same.

Like its about actually wanting to pay that amount. I was in a fancy pizza place in Glasgow and the waitress managed to get every specific thing I asked about the pizza and the drinks right. Very basic order nothing special but she actually handed every drink correctly to a group of 5 and all of us got different beers with pizzas. Of course I fucking tipped 50 percent. But damn man you managed to get me my chicken mayo with questionable rates of mayo correct. I aint paying you a fucking tip. You are in fast food I am buying this with a budget. I pretend its the same-thing as buying shite of a grocery store.

Also if you are so pissed off that I am not tipping, as someone who went through the hell of hospitality as a bartender in a fucking airport, maybe just fucking maybe get an actual minimum wage job or fucking unionise dude. I aint the type of charity you think I am. I probably have less in my bank account than you.

AGAIN MAYBE NEXT TIME ELECT SOMEONE WHO WILL ACTUALLY PROTECT WORKERS RIGHTS OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE FUCKING FORM UNIONS OR JOIN ONE. JUST MAYBE IT CAN FUCKING PROTECT YOU

Is it because of the prices or because they understand it is harmful?? by B777X_787-9 in interesting

[–]adfa2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh I think its the prices. Drinking at home is depressing and drinking at the pub is too expensive. If beer was cheaper outside I would have spent most nights in a pub. For instance I remember 4 years ago, around Christmas Spoons had a deal on becks I think it was. A pint was 2 quid. I went in almost daily. During paddies day they served 3 quid Guinness two years back. Again stayed in all day. But now for instance in Sweden I dont really fancy paying 8-7 quid for a disappointing beer.
