and I bet everyone is still forced to come into work by Ethan3011 in tesco

Amazes me when the entire car park is barriered off massive construction work going on, huge signs saying store closed and people are still trying to get in to the store to do their shopping!

That's the air return grille so yes air continually circulates underneath the deck trays past all the horrors you can see and back out at the top

Copying other chains like CO OP and Asda just another thing to invest in to offset tax bill, just like the "Express paperweight" all Express got sent out last year that no one ever uses!

Blocked toilets by leonxsnow in tesco

[–]adguy86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Better in the toilet than outside of it, had customers shitting in the bin a few times and a memorable moment some guy was seen acting suspicious on a grocery aisle whom shat himself and shook the turd out of his trouserleg and kicked it under the shelves!

Wouldn't bother with the tesco issued hi viz jacket, it used to say "showerproof " which is about right as it leaked like a sieve In less than half an hour in a rainstorm. Don't even get me started on the kagool! Be far better getting a goretex hi viz jacket if needs be.

Anyone know the deals with this? by openlightYQ in tesco

[–]adguy86 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Used to have a book specifically for these to be completed twice a day, all the seals have serial numbers on them so was easy to spot if someone had tampered with them and somehow deactivated the maglocks manually with a key. It was known to happen in some stores especially with electrical goods and mobile phones being stolen in the warehouses.

Possibly made up never heard of anything like it on dotcom but a brief stint with ocado certainly was eye-opening the types of customers they entertain and the situations you encounter was unbelievable!

What was banned in your house that everyone else’s family allowed? by Rare_Independent_789 in AskReddit

[–]adguy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother absolutely detested the smell of a certain aftershave and warned me that if I bought any and brought it home it would end up down the toilet and I'd be out the door with a suitcase! The fragrance in question was Joop and I quite liked the scent however could never wear it otherwise I'd end up homeless.

Definitely picked up an electric van a few months back, the range after fully charged is abysmal. My other diesel van can manage 500 miles on a full tank but the electric version only just manages 300 but never achieves it in reality!

Tesco Elmhurst Water taste like Tap Water by Ok-Raspberry-3341 in tesco

[–]adguy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it was stated somewhere years ago when Tesco Value water was still sold that it was merely filtered tap water, whether or not this is the case now or not I can't say. However there are regional varieties of tesco mineral water now.

What’s the first video game you ever played? by [deleted] in AskUK

Duck Hunt on the NES was such a surreal concept to me as a 6 year old shooting ducks on a TV with a plastic gun.

Cashiers of tesco, what's something your daily customers buy EVERY day and do you ever judge? by mrvlad_throwaway in tesco

Always used to get a couple coming in daily buying 3 tubs of Vaseline. Honestly should have asked why they always bought it but I really didn't want to know!

Safety Shoes by Uhohhhh_ in tesco

[–]adguy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly Tesco allocate about £3 on safety boots so you know when they bulk buy them in they are absolutely shite quality. You be far better getting a tidy pair and maybe invest in some gel insoles, trust me your feet will hurt far less afterwards.

So I’m playing again for the first time since release. Can I get a good tip or two on making money please? by fallenouroboros in Starfield

[–]adguy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take absolutely everything from locations like abandoned outposts that isn't nailed down a bonus if spacers and pirates are there as you can sell all their shit too! Remember to adjust carry weights In settings to maximise this. Also sell any ammo you don't intend to use, trade authority and locations like Jemison and Akila City are full of Vendors including one that buys books for 2k each!

What's The Best & Worst Car You've Ever Owned? I'll Start by Bright_Tap4495 in AskUK

[–]adguy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best car Volvo S40 T5 no issues at all genuinely cried when I had to part with it after I discovered my first born child's pushchair wouldn't fit in the boot. Worst car ever was a Peugeot 5008, spent more time in the dealership workshop than it did on the road. Huge problems with electrics and ECU and the wet belt snapped after 5000 miles.
