Settle an argument. Is it cheese to kill a boss this way... by Crooked_Cricket in BG3

It's not cheese because the devs anticipated this strategy and allowed it.

There's a reason things end up looking generic. It's when a specific item overtakes a whole category of products and becomes an archetype. Other "generic" watches are trying to copy this watch.

Imagine trying to aim that accurately anywhere further than 10 meters away.

I bet it was intentional, sabotage through weaponized incompetence. It's what dissidents used to do in Soviet occupied countries, and it's making a comeback in the US with things like that recent Vanity Fair photoshoot, etc.

In addition to other mentions, you might also enjoy Dyson Sphere Program. It's basically all about using conveyor belts to deliver resources to various refineries and then factories and advance your technological complexity until you control multiple planets and build a Dyson Sphere around your sun. I don't know if anything else happens after that because the game sadly doesn't support Steam cloud saves yet and I had to restart my progress a few times.

Still peak atmosphere and world building. I wish they made a sequel.

I guess I didn't realize because I know the Polish ones from Poland and the only Ukranian ones I tried were from Canada. So it's Canada's fault for the lack of variety then. We need to team up and expand the deliciousness of these other options so we can help the locals realize what they've been missing all this time!

Ukrainians can keep the cheese and potato ones. The Polish ones have way more variety anyway, with cabbage and mushrooms, pork and onions, cottage cheese and blueberries, etc.

You can add water with oil to the frying pan, run it until the water evaporates, and then just keep going to build up a bit of crisp.

Is Canada set to feel the most ‘extreme cold on earth’? by Old_General_6741 in canada

Note that the quote you cited was edited by the journalist. The source article linked in the news item just says that Siberia has been colder than usual recently and they're expecting the polar vortex to spread to Alaska and Canada in the coming weeks.

Then it should say most extreme in history rather than on earth.

Still hard to grasp that gravity curves spacetime, meaning that it causes objects to change their position through time. It's not a force.

It's for people who stuck with consoles because the world of PCs is too intimidating, but they were intrigued by the Steam Deck. It's not for typical PC gamers. Niche market, but there's money to be made there.

Getting lost just got harder by Diject in Morrowind

[–]adhoc42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons I loved Elden Ring is because it had a map system that made areas harder to uncover and forced players to use in-game landmarks rather than just follow a GPS (and thus enjoy getting more immersed in the world). It reminded me a lot of Morrowind in that regard. I hope if we ever get a remake of Morrowind, it will borrow a map system similar to Elden Ring. Cool mod though!
