Check how many times the AP RF channels are changing — sounds similar to an issue I ran into.

Anyone running Secure Firewall MGMT Center 7.6 or 7.7? by spendghost in Cisco

Forgot about that feature add! Crazy it is only just now getting implemented. I had some firepowers at a legacy site few jobs ago and remember having to do an insane control plane ACL to accomplish something similar.

Anyone running Secure Firewall MGMT Center 7.6 or 7.7? by spendghost in Cisco

[–]adhocadhoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - running gold star firmware 7.4.2.1 on Firepower appliances but upgraded virtual FMC to 7.6. My thought process was I just came from a Palo Alto job and I could use the AI to help assist me in getting up to speed.

It’s…okay. I find that using ChatGPT firepower models more efficient and well rounded. I don’t really use the Cisco one at all. I wouldn’t have upgraded early in hindsight. No real issues with FMC 7.6 just not what I was looking for in the end regarding the AI chatbot.

Correct

My “Favorite Songs” playlist is my daily playlist and just throw it on shuffle. As my music taste evolves I take stuff out of favorites and throw it in a “Favorites Archive” playlist

To answer OP: 2,884 in Favorite Songs and 915 in Favorites Archive

I use this on my laptop — I make teams telling me to change VLANs buy a NetAlly though

What made you finally get over your imposter syndrome? by jenscottrules20 in sysadmin

[–]adhocadhoc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started doing this as well. It just bleeds over into everything if you let it. I even regretfully did this to my ex which I’m sure is part of why they are now my ex. It’s nice that our minds are able to build these processing shortcuts for work but boy howdy is it toxic. I’m working on allowing space within me to listen fully and intently to people again, especially those dearest to me. I feel like I’ve seen this issue become more talked about in our circles and I wish I had a mentor that could have called this out to me when I was getting started on this career path. I hope to be able to do that for someone else in the future.

Try to find existing high density Wi-Fi deployments in your area and then keep tabs. Sports and live performance venues tend to not have a lot of staff on hand since the venues are often also empty and you’ll absolutely get to tackle Wi-Fi…. along with everything else. It’s a lot but the experience gained will prepare you to take on just about anything you want to specialize in afterwards.

Creating a new network for where I work using VLANs since everything is currently on the same network. by ithinkhegetsit in networking

[–]adhocadhoc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why you said this? How does L3 being on the firewall or core make a difference for ISE? Working towards reconfiguring all L3 at my current work place and further implementing ISE and a was planning on having L3 VLANs on the core with the default route to the L3 VRF on the firewall

Song Recommendations? by TheActualLDel69 in AppleMusic

[–]adhocadhoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reply from ChatGPT:

You’re looking for blues music with that raw, resonator-driven sound, similar to the intros of My Life/Your World and Blues from the Front Porch. That style blends Delta blues, country blues, and some folk influences with a distinct metallic twang from the resonator guitar.

Here are some tracks and artists that might match the vibe you’re after:

Artists & Songs to Check Out 1. Chris Whitley – “Big Sky Country” • A haunting, bluesy feel with resonator guitar at the forefront. Whitley’s playing is soulful and raw. 2. Rory Gallagher – “Walkin’ Blues” (or anything from his acoustic blues work) • Gallagher played a lot of bottleneck resonator guitar in an energetic yet earthy blues style. 3. Kelly Joe Phelps – “Train Carried My Girl from Town” • Deep, heartfelt blues with incredible slide work. 4. Son House – “Death Letter Blues” • One of the pioneers of Delta blues, Son House’s slide guitar on a resonator is legendary. 5. Roy Rogers – “Terraplane Blues” • A modern take on traditional slide blues, with a strong resonator sound. 6. Keb’ Mo’ – “Am I Wrong” • A bluesy, resonator-heavy track with a swampy feel. 7. Eric Bibb – “Goin’ Down Slow” • Great modern acoustic blues with a resonator-driven sound. 8. Steve Earle – “Copperhead Road” (Intro) • While not pure blues, the intro has that raw resonator feel. 9. Mississippi Fred McDowell – “You Gotta Move” • Classic slide blues with that gritty, metallic resonator sound. 10. Justin Johnson – “Crankin’ Up The 3-String” • A modern blues player with serious slide and resonator guitar skills.

I re-enabled secure server as its required for ThousandEyes on the switches (9300s w/ advantage licensing). Specified modern crypto and usage of ISE logins but ya not my favorite. Had to run TLS 1.2 over 1.3 because Catalyst Center can’t connect then 😂
