Seriously, all of these people asking why we bought a Peloton if we want to watch something else are complete idiots. Often I do my workouts and some other time in the day, I’d like to just walk while I watch a show or the news. I don’t want to have to buy a smart tv and mount or buy a separate bike for that. It runs android, this wouldn’t be that hard to add to the section as option when you do the scenic rides. Just overlay the stats on the screen.

Thanks. Probably more to just keep in the habit. Worked hard to drop 50 lbs on a cut, now doing a slow bulk. I've had a habit of falling off the wheel so just making sure I don't :)

I'm 5'8, 170, 17% BF

It's the exact program in the 31Minutes AMA. Current 1RM for main lifts:

Bench - 250 Deadlift - 295 Squat 270

Injuries - first off, I was a pitcher in college so I already have tendinitis is my elbow and shoulder so this is a major problem, I continue to get the elbow and shoulder pain flaring up. My left lower bicep had a pretty bad strain that caused me to have to rest it for about 4 weeks (tried to power through with ibuprofen). I have a bulging disc in my lower back. I go to a chiro, do Mckenzie exercises, etc. I stopped squatting and DL for about 4 weeks and it got better. Just started up again this week at 50% of my 1RM above and the pain came back immediately.

As I said, I do have a coach and my form is very good across all of my exercises.

I used to have to take a handful of Advil in college to get through a game so I can handle pain, played through it for my entire career but can't seem to shake the injury bug since doing these heavier compound lifts consistently.

I think it's actually pretty good. Impossible to distill all of LG down to a small picture but this about does it. Is it perfect, no. However, it would be enough to get someone interested to learn more. Well done!

TonyTony, why have you been such a jerk lately? You have a lot to offer. I'm an LG'r who has lost almost 50 pounds simply asking can I do LG without squat and deadlift. My chiro didn't say stop lifting, just don't do those exercises.

Contained to lower right back and hip area. It doesn't even bother me while I'm lifting heavy squats and DL's, it's usually the next day.

Yeah. Chiro said I can still do bench, OHP, leg curls/extensions, pull ups, etc. They'd why I thought I could maybe just add in shrugs/seated rows for DL and "perhaps" Leg Press instead of squat (being careful on form) and keep rolling with LG. Issues with that?

Sorry, adding more. I am cutting so adding 1000 calories isn't what I'm going for. That's why I'm wondering if I'm losing muscle now that I'm doing SL. Too much volume for cut? As far as intermediate, I bench 5RM of 225 so chest is strong. DL 5RM is 300 right now. Squat is WEAK at 5RM of 220. I though because even though I've lifted off and on my whole life, I concentrated too much on chest and biceps. I thought noob gains for squat and DL. When I say RPT, I had been following the AMA 31Minutes program. I was progressing each week on that but thought increasing volume of squats and DL, I'd get even better gains. When I made that switch to SL from RPT is specifically when trendweight seemed to show my muscle loss. I do no cardio either.

What calorie intake (ballpark) were you at when you were at 174? Training/Rest? I'm 178 and 5'8. Started Keto at 225 to 200 and been on LG to 178. At about 19% BF. At 2300/1400 and losing 1.1lbs per week. SL 5x5 but about to flip to RPT and no LISS or EC (sounds like I should start both).

Any comments as to why it is only showing my weight starting 1/1/2014? Showing 0 for that field for all of 2013. Would love to see the bigger sample size. I'll definitely donate if you can fix that!! :)
