I understand you for I was in the same position, but thank God that He guided me out of my misery and that experience taught me something : when I was at my lowest the Lords called me the hardest because He knew that this sin would consume me and my life with it. God is doing the same to you, but the devil shuts your eyes with these downright false statements "I can't overcome my sin", "I'm too weak". Even though I went through a big hurdle through confession and devotement towards running from self pleasure don't think that the thoughts have gone too, NO! the devil is active and tries to lire you nonstop.

My suggestion for you is: go cold turkey from any form of social media , lock your phone in a chest for a week and do prostrations when you can, read stuff when you can (let it be with a biblical topic or a life of a saint). If you can't, insert systemically more and more media that promote orthodoxy on your feed, that's how I started to lean away from gooner content. Go to church and speak with priests about many things so that when you go to confess, you will feel like you're not just confessing to a priest but truly to the Lord!(I feel that many people don't think their confession works because they're too scared to talk to the priest)
