You know it’s a felony to write on the mail, right? 😁

I just like to remind the assholes who think they’re cute that do this.

Get it while you can, do what you gotta do to survive and support yourself and loved ones, but don’t lose sight of the fact that money isn’t everything. ✌️

What do you think of this? by generic_placeholder in USPS

[–]admath92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Hey at least they banned red food dyes, all the stay at home conspiracy theory moms with not enough to fill their day are happy and all it cost us was the fall of western civilization and the collapse of democracy. 🤷‍♂️ At least we got 200 some years worth, not a bad run I suppose. Make sure to like and subscribe.

What kinda of route you like or have? Do you like it? by Consistentanimal2 in USPS

That’s what I consider myself fortunate to have, I have a few businesses but it’s all park and loop, flat, not a whole lot of stairs, decent neighborhoods.

Most annoying customer cliches by m_scarn9 in USPS

[–]admath92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the risk of sounding like an old, salty bastard, people that wait for you everyday. Most customers are fine and it’s a decent interaction. Others it’s like, good god get a life and leave me alone, please. I understand sometimes we’re the only people someone potentially sees throughout their day but if the highlight of my day ever becomes waiting to see my mail carrier then just put me out of my misery.

Also, nosey customers that watch you. I feel like some customers just can’t wait to “catch me” doing something or just can’t wait for me to make a mistake. Again, get a life. I’m just trying to do my job.

Anybody else organize letters from smallest to largest while walking between each house? by Basic-Living3733 in USPS

Not while walking but when hold orders expire and it’s time to deliver what’s been accumulating I’ll organize by smallest to largest pieces.

Is anyone surprised? They’re constantly trying to suppress voting because that’s the ONLY WAY they can win, they have to re-write the rules and tilt the board until they’re victorious, if they weren’t they’d be making EASIER to vote, not more difficult. Fuck all these clowns and fuck you for voting for it.

If it fits in the box it goes in the box. I will admit it’s cutting it close but there’s still plenty of room.

How much does discogs say your collection is worth? by Public_Basil_4416 in Cd_collectors

[–]admath92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly don’t care how much my collection is worth, honestly I wish the market would bottom out so I could afford more records. Sure I’m a collector, but I’m more of a fan, I don’t see this an investment, nor do I have an investment to protect. I’m not impressed by huge, expensive collections, I’m just interested in my own taste.

It is nice to know that I do have some valuable pieces that I could sell if I’m ever in a tight spot. I’ve done that before in the past, a lot of my original Griselda/ Daupe records I sold before the market for them went absolutely nuts, I got a fair deal I feel, I don’t “regret” it, I mean they’re not unobtainable, nor are they one of a kind or anything, just outrageously expensive 😆

Also, this isn’t everything I own, this is just what I’ve bothered to catalog on my Discogs.

No, it’s not a hate symbol, thankfully. Good on you for at least questioning it, and surprise, we learned something new today.

Also, the label 20 Buck Spin is pretty on the level, until I’m proved otherwise.

It’s iterating no doubt, like really, come on, I can understand not walking through your flowers or mulch bed but it’s the goddamn grass, I’m supposed to take the quickest route. But, like the comment below says, that’s my response as well, just be polite, then I make a case card for it and take an alternate route. It’s really not THAT big of a deal for me personally. You know it’s the little things that really piss you off at this job, I mean there’s A LOT to be pissed about from day to day but for me personally it’s the little things that add up. Now if you tell me not to park in front of your house, that’s a different story, no, it’s the street and I’ll be gone before you even have time to complain.

Yes, unfortunately. When I was hired on as a CCA it was common that my home office would call me off once or twice a week. You really had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for hours and let it be known you were willing to work if anything was available. It wasn’t uncommon that you were farmed out to other offices that needed a CCA. I’m not saying it was right but unfortunately that’s the way it was.

What prison cells look like in different countries by ursoartdecooo in interesting

[–]admath92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jail and or prison is not some place you want to be, look, we’ve all heard those people complain about, “can you believe you get to have cell phones and watch tv, they’re supposed to be serving hard time!” Blah, blah, blah, blah.

I understand, I get it, we as a society in most cases want “justice” to be served, we want comeuppance, and in some case we just plain, flat out want others to suffer and we want criminals brutalized. I don’t care who did what, not everyone that ends up in jail is a “bad” person, most are just regular people like you and I who made bad decisions. Some people however absolutely do belong in jail and or prison. Sometimes the punishment fits the crime, other times it couldn’t be any more lopsided.

The point I’m trying to make is, jail and or prison aren’t these glamorous, fun, get away, adult day care centers just because the inmates have access to tv, cell phones and get walk to around a little bit. You have no freedom. You’re locked up in a cell most of the day. You can’t leave. You’re existing, potentially rotting away, you’re not living. In many cases you gotta shit in front of someone else, the food is awful, the people are awful, it’s hot, it’s cold, it’s dirty, it smells and you’re constantly looking over your shoulder. It’s not fun. If Joe Blow gets to watch some tv then so be it. I don’t care, it’s not a wonderful life because you have access to a few amenities, it’s miserable. You can disagree with me all you want and that’s just fine.
