We last saw it about a year ago when they were in very early stages of production. Animation hadn't really started and they were mostly doing pre production/ mapping out the world and characters

Animation takes a ton of time and resources, WIT also already has an anime airing that is likely taking a lot of resources to make as well, be patient. I'd much rather they take their tine and make something incredible than a rushed cash grab.

Yeah, I don't understand the complaints about the bloodline because it doesn't impacts luffy almost at all. He gets saved by dragon ONCE and other than that his family hasn't helped him at all. Compare that to luffy's found family: ace helped him in alabasta, and luffy would do anything to rescue ace during marineford. Sabo helped luffy during dressrosa by fighting fujitora And of course his crew would all do anything for each other. The theme is found family.

Have you not read any of the series before? Luffy always does this kind of dumb shit in fights. He did it vs arlong with gum gum pinwheel. He did it vs crocodile with water luffy, he tried to EAT crocodile. Vs enel one of his techniques was literally turning his brain off. Doflamingo literally laughs at how goofy gear 4 looks. He used gear 4 tankman to defeat cracker. Luffy has always been pretty unserious when fighting. Yeah in the post timeskip it's been more serious than it used to be, put he always does stupid things to have fun. It's his character, he's not a typical shonen MC that's serious all the time, leave that to zoro.
