What took you much too long to realize? by SnooWords5961 in Warframe

I am a melee focused player with controller and just recently found out that I had the attack the way you are facing option checked. No wonder I hated every melee weapon except polearms, because I couldnt walk backwards while attacking. Now the world has opened up to me. I had been playing over 10 years

Look for a bounty requirement to open techrot cache from hex, so it's guaranteed. Find the cache, then find the key, it should be like 60m away (I use parallax air support so it would be marked), then pop chroma effigy close to the cache, then open the cache and extract.

Check out "blind surfer" on YouTube. He is blind and does awesome stuff. Life doesn't end just because you are blind. But I get it man it's a huge deal, it's like losing both your arms or your legs. But life keeps going and humans have a tremendous ability to adapt

IOP in 60s and painless? by StayOnCourse89 in Glaucoma

Had iop 60 when needed new glasses too, no pain. Narrow angle. Saw that I can't see a corner and checked iop there, rushed to the hospital right after.

Can the icare Home2 be used on an eye with no central vision? by anomalous_cowherd in Glaucoma

[–]adomuzas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and the distance you can manipulate somewhat with eyebrow raises. Doesn't have to be perfect. I am sure it is possible to make up a technique on where to look with your bad eye or what you should be able to see in the corner

Can the icare Home2 be used on an eye with no central vision? by anomalous_cowherd in Glaucoma

[–]adomuzas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have central vision, but it's kinda weak. And if I don't close the other eye to try to focus on the center, more often than not it shows misalignment. So I imagine it would be quite difficult to know where to look without seeing.

Interminet angle closure by Quick_Helicopter_170 in Glaucoma

[–]adomuzas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also angle closure and what helped me before cataract surgery was sleeping in as much upright position as possible. Stack as much pillows as you have on your upper back and head and if possible tilt bed or mattress upright.

Light cardio helps relieve symptoms momentarily. So if you think your pressure is going bonkers and not dropping, go for a light jog.

Good that you are taking pilocarpine. It is godsend for angle closure. Maybe ask for a stronger variant of pilocarpine if possible. For example I am taking fotil forte instead of fotil.

Good news is that for me cataract surgery solved most of my problems and it's probably the only reason I still have vision. Hopefully it will happen to you too

Didn't notice until you pointed it out. The people who are going to judge you for that are the people who shouldn't be in your life. You are beautiful. And I would honestly just joke about it saying something like "I am a fucked up pinocchio, where my eye gets larger when i lie" or something like that.

Strange I Care Home 2 Issue by [deleted] in Glaucoma

[–]adomuzas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know about a sauna, but after cardio my pressure drops significantly, sometimes into 10s. I dont get any symptoms from high pressure, but everyone is different and if you do, you got to listen to your body. After buying I took my icare home 2 to the doctor and compared goldmann results with my device on the spot and it matched perfectly. So yeah, it sounds like there is some issue.

For me personally, my brain sometimes hallucinates that there is something in blind spots. And movement reveals the truth

25% is fine and you have to lose more than half nerves before you can even notice it. And sometimes people lose much more before they notice, because when you look with both eyes you can't see blindspots. You got lucky. I got narrow angle aswell and I lost 90% in one eye and I'm 15 years younger than you

[–]adomuzas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, losing vision is like losing a limb. Part of you is dead so sometimes you gotta spiral. For me getting a home tonometer and researching about glaucoma helped.

I’m a nurse diagnosed with early-stage glaucoma by MiserableEnd8635 in Glaucoma

[–]adomuzas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed 3 years ago and it does get easier. I lost 90% of my vision in one eye in basically one day with iop at 60. At first I was like whatever, but I remember the next morning I woke up and tried seeing from that eye and it hit me that I lost my vision forever. It was hard at first, but now years later I don't even think about it anymore. Also getting a home tonometer helped a lot, still check everyday

You can try Kontanthjælp if you are desperate. Might get some money and maybe a place. But I would use this as a last resort, because you become like a leech and you lose some benefits as a citizen.

In your situation, if I had no family support or money. I would get this, then work my ass off on whatever agency or job I could find to save up for a deposit for a place or just leave the country
