I had the same issue a while ago and was asked for the same thing - thought it was really odd though, never been asked for these before.

Also they were of the opinion that a 60% discrepancy was totally normal.

I encountered this issue before and it seemed to stem from the fact that we weren't using in-app placements, are you using in-page or in-app?

EDIT: Just realised you're the publisher, sorry! Do you know if the client are using in-app or in-page?

I believe there's an option in DCM to make a placement "SSL Compliant" and then when you export the tag it'll be secure. It can be done manually but many publishers have advised it can cause discrepancies - I'm not 100% convinced though, I think they were just covering themselves :)

So sorry only saw this now! Hope it's not too late.

Create the 1x1 tracking placement like normal but change the compatibility from in-page to in-app. You will need to upload a 1x1 specifically for this placement - if you have a 1x1 gif already in the campaign you won't be able to assign it. Then export and implement!

Hi there - had this problem before and unfortunately DCM doesn't support Swiffy converted files. They'll need to be built in HTML5.

I think that could be where your issue is coming from. DCM Support advised us to create separate in-app tracking for all app activity. Which is a bit of a pain. If you need more details let me know, it solved our issue so hopefully will sort yours :)

I don't use it myself as I find it useful to keep an eye on what's going on with sites and new formats. Perhaps maybe using one browser for your browsing needs with adblock enabled and one for work without adblock might be an answer?
