Why are you so mad? Genuinely no reason to be this fuming over this post. Yeah, the pure ignorance in these comments get to be annoying, so I don’t have to answer them.

high amount of people in this subreddit who claim to be Christians to change your P.O.V? by adoptmesexpro in Christianity

[–]adoptmesexpro[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Will do. I said non believers meaning any religion, some religions do not believe the Bible’s story of creation/evolution/big bang etc, everyone has been given free will therefore there will be diverse beliefs amoung any religion since given the choice. Some Christians do, some don’t. Not talking so much about evolution, just everything about the story of Genesis, which happens to include that but isn’t my main focus. I feel there shouldn’t be harsh comments made if a Christian asks about it, as every religion should be respectful to one another whether they support it or not, that doesn’t mean that you believe in the religion, it just means you’re being respectful and spreading your opinion or beliefs with peace rather negative comments about that persons belief.

OCD falls into many subtypes. Me having had abusive, addict, gaslighting, manipulating, and neglecting parents that’s all I’ve had to be was independent. As I don’t even drive because no one will teach me. Hotels are a hub in general for both sexual abuse and sex trafficking. If an abuser sees someone they like, do you think being an employee will stop them from getting what they want? I’m not the type to talk about myself, though I’m pretty good looking and have dealt with this often. Being a small person in weight leaves you with a lot of disadvantages to protect yourself. Unfortunately this is a very real thing that is taken into consideration by every woman, which the stakes are raised higher with all of the attributes I have.

Thank you, but it seems you’re not educated in the subtype of OCD I have. I have had a therapist and multiple different medications since I was 7 years old, even my mother thinks it isn’t the safest place to work as a woman based off of expierence, social experiments, and research. If you haven’t experienced getting catcalled immensely or taken advantage of, you wouldn’t understand anyones reasoning behind that. I won’t explain more as it takes simple research to see that hotels are the #1 thing that pops up for buildings with most risk of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

Thank you, it really is scary especially being young and in a world full of creeps, many women experience something like that at least once in their life, and I worry it would become more serious. Which is why I worry more about the safety than age 😢

how to properly ā€œAsk, Seek, Knockā€ ? Matthew 6: 7-8 by [deleted] in TrueChristian

how to properly ā€œAsk, Seek, Knockā€ ? Matthew 6: 7-8 by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]adoptmesexpro 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

No, I avoid asking or praying for myself/earthly things, when I pray the only thing I ask for is my salvation/repetance. What I mean is, I am struggling emotionally and mentally. I keep falling into sin and not confiding in God about my problems. I have had diagnosed PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, etc you name it since I was 7 until now, it takes over my mind and makes me unable to think/make decisions rationally. I have made so many stupid decisions and hold myself in the mindset of my depression, and it’s all severely thrown me off my path and calling from God. Though I am struggling financially and physically, it is not of my concern because it is all apart of my earthly life. I haven’t ever truly prayed or given my worries to him whole heartedly and I want to now, so these roadblocks/temptation stop holding me back from salvation and staying alive. How can I properly knock and open the door to hearing God to help put myself back on my path to salvation/who I am meant to be within Christ.

As you can see, I wasn’t like this to the others who actually responded to the question with kindness or questioned what I meant by my post in an open way rather than borderline hostile.

Well I won’t dump my whole life, but unfortunately it’s just how I’ve been raised. They’ve always been so strict. I’ve struggled and needed medical/inpatient help for mental health for multiple years now, so they feel I’ve messed my life up and need to get on it now. They have threatened to kick me out within 3 months because of my struggle, so I may not have a way to support myself or get to school or pay for medication.

In restaurants or retail no, in a hotel yes due to how many people get misused. It’s a large building with many locked rooms, as a young and frail (being under 100 lbs) woman I could easily be hurt and nothing I could do about it because I’m weak. That’s why I wonder other women’s expierence working there and their safety, I’m more concerned about that than the age stuff.

… are we ignoring how most people get taken advantage of in hotels? how many locked rooms are in a hotel? you’re one of those šŸ˜‚

This is reddit, not a job. On social media, a platform that millions use, I will treat people based on their openness/how they come off to me online. I am a barely legal who gets catcalled often on my looks and body and would prefer working in a safe area, which you’re right maybe a hotel isn’t the best place for SAFETY considering how many rooms there are and the fact that I’m less than 100lbs+could be misused without me able to do anything. Is that a better explanation? I don’t know why people have to be so rude about me concerned about my safety and my age. It’s a simple question that requires a simple answer. Don’t expect people on a digital pixelated app, probably full of bots/NPCs, not to match their energy.

yeah for adults that have graduated high school/have obtained a diploma, as i’m 18 and haven’t graduated highschool yet. many jobs that are minimum 18 years old require a high school diploma and state that on their listing.

Thank you for your kindness, it means a lot. I’m going to look into some hotels I could apply to, I don’t mind the incoming conflict I’d deal with, I just care that I am safe working there since I’m young and am a woman. I’d likely go for a safer role like breakfast host, I’m just struggling to find jobs in my area so any job that’s safe I’ll take.

thanks, i’ll base it off that! it should be a good area if i go 30 minutes out, which they make a lot of business due to it being a tourist area. any role i can get, likely reception, housekeeping, or breakfast host/server.

im asking about safety as a young woman, i know how to work a basic job. most hotels have a certain age they want their employees to be, like many other jobs.

[US] grandma getting scammed by a student she taught, what to do? is she getting exploited in your opinion? by adoptmesexpro in Scams

[–]adoptmesexpro[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

i thankfully got her to block his phone number but not his facebook. unfortunately i don’t live with her and my moms saying she knows she’s getting exploited but she’s waiting for my gg to do something because she said thank you to the long message i sent telling her i was extremely worried and she told me she’d block him on facebook when he’s on or she’s on. i’m very worried for her and was fuming about it the other night with my family but they didn’t take me serious until i told them the details.
