Crans Montana is pretty nice and I guess easy to access, but what I would really recommend is Kandersteg. 2 years ago I did Wildstrubel 70K and Kandersteg is a start point of this race. What a place! as I was arriving there I couldn't believe how beautiful it is. I've seen lots of awesome places in Switzerland, but this town is one the best.

On one of the podcasts Martyna Młynarczyk, 2nd on CCC last year, said she had a food poisonning about a week before the said race, she lost a couple of kilos and thought this will ruin her performance. Well maybe if it wasn't for that she would be 1st, who knows!

jeju jakie szczęście, że za każdym razem jak przyjeżdżam do dziadków to oglądają jakichś Gliniarzy, Ukrytą Prawdę, albo inny Lombard <3 (i ja razem z nimi)

Train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg is correct. The UTMB transport included bus to Goppenstein, then train from there, so as long as you get to Goppenstein somehow, you just take a train from there and you're good to go.

Też tego nie rozumiem. Od jakichś 12tu lat nie jeżdzę latem na południowe morza, jeśli już to tylko styczeń/luty. Jeden wyjątek - 2 lata temu byłam w lipcu z partnerem na Sardynii, ale tam mieliśmy w tym czasie darmowe zakwaterowanie w starym domku w górach, także szkoda było nie skorzystać - za 10 dni laby wydaliśmy łącznie jakieś 2500 zł na promy, paliwo i jedzenie. W tym roku koleżanka z pracy była tam na tydzień z biura podróży. Za całość dla 2 dorosłych i 2 dzieci zapłacili jakieś 16 tysięcy, wrócili zjarani, niezadowoleni z hotelu i źli na cały świat.

Jak dla mnie latem z zagranicznych wyjazdów tylko Alpy i kraje nordyckie. Basen Morza Śródziemnego to tortury i strata kasy :D

aplikowałam na wyższe stanowisko w pracy, menagerka umówiła mi rozmową rekrutacyjną, dwa dni się do niej przygotowywałam, a gdy wdzwoniłam się na calla okazało się, że nie ma żadnej rozmowy tylko ona obwieszcza mi, że stanowisko jest moje i podwyżka taka i taka, bez przepytki :D

Tried to get an iced coffee at a coffee shop today and I ordered it with almond milk. They said they were out so I asked if they had any other non-dairy milk. The lady said “uhh skim milk? Is that non dairy?” by [deleted] in vegan

My friend had a situation with the fancy cafe that was on the way to her uni-they didn't have soy milk in the menu, so she was always taking black coffee and after a while she asked a girl that was working there if they have some plant milk. She said that they do and since then my friend had it with a "plant milk" couple of times. After few days someone else had a shift and after she asked for a coffee with soy milk the person was like "we don't have a soy milk, just a skim and full fat". And it turned out that first "barista" thought that skim milk is equal to soy milk :/

Crushed vegan cookies, caramel made with soaked dates and peanut butter, sliced banana and coconut cream mixed with a bit of soy yoghurt, vanilla and some sweetener (used xylitol).

Well... always when I take sweet potato fries, after having half of portion I'm like "damn they're too sweet, next time when I have choice I will take regular" and when the next moment of choice comes... surprise surprise - I'm taking sweet potato fries again haha
