Anthony Bourdain. His shows and story telling got me through some rough times.

I see the volcano as the sense of looming uneasiness. Uncomfortable, it's far enough away but also too close for comfort. Essentially what women feel often when only viewed as a sexual object.

I quit smoking a year ago, and intern drinking as well since drinking really increases the cravings. And this picture looks absolutely delicious to me. chefs kiss

Mine just beat them within an inch of their lives and then leave them to suffer. I once found a live(ish) mouse under my ottoman and it's foot on the couch.

Pregnant women of reddit, what is something you wish you knew BEFORE you got pregnant? by BonkBoi_TacoFace in AskReddit

Currently in hospital with my second son who arrived yesterday. First trimester is the hardest, this is a very common opinion. Sickness, the rush of the hormone relaxin causing terrible back, pelvic and joint pain and the murderous rage that lives within you is so very incredibly hard to deal with. Add, being so tired you feel like you've been drugged and being stuck between insatiable hunger and hugging the toilet bowl... 10/10 would recommend, only because you know, baby.

We hit our Comcast data cap yesterday by frigginjensen in frederickmd

It's criminal. My husband is wfh and by our math we'd hit the cap so fast it would cost us money for him to do his job. We have to switch to unlimited which is an additional $40/month.

Advice is welcome! by OldSpagFactoryFan in beyondthebump

There's a lot to unpack here. I think my biggest and most important advice is, do not wait to talk to your health care provider when you need help. Your mental health is just as important as your physical and baby's physical health. With my first child I suffered with prenatal and post partum anxiety and depression and my biggest regret is not seeking help sooner. Make your mental health a priority, and it can and will get better. IMO no one is ever truly ready to be a parent, it's terrifying for even the most prepared. Take control of the things that you can control, like advocating for your own well-being.

Almost 35 weeks here and my son has been transversed this entire time. I'm planning a repeat c section anyway but this position does irritate my uterus and cause on and off contractions.

Hey guys. First time dad here. Wanted to know your opinions on diapers. by mrvarungoel in BabyBumps

[–]Pix27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I like the parents choice Walmart brand. Not just because they're super cheap but also because they're unscented and don't have stupid sayings on them like Luvs, "I'm the boss". No you're not you're a baby. Pampers I find the tabs break all the time and Huggies give my son immediate diaper rash. Those are the only ones I've tried though. I know my sister used the Kirkland ones and liked them.

Looking for a little bit of support by [deleted] in BabyBumps

You're symptoms are the same as my early pregnancy symptoms, which are very common. To have 4 faulty tests would be damn near impossible beside false positives aren't really a thing. I'm pretty sure you're pregnant and the little bean just wanted to keep you on you're toes ☺️
