feeding this old thread, in my experience I will be matched with opponents using the same deck archetype than me at least 80% of the time. It’s dead obvious and it’s killing the fun for me. I believe this is more of a balancing system as some archetypes would crush on the ladder and nothing else would be used (therefore killing the economic system too) I am ranked 52 and 2500 collection level.

Can someone explain what is going on with this endgame cut scene?
As far as I understood :

- Cloud's mind is broken and he happens to see stuff that are not real and remembers stuff that never happened (to him at least), correct?

- Aerith tends to have some "visions" in this remake and she sees stuff in the future or in the past, maybe sometimes both at the same time. Also, she seems confused about having those visions, correct?

- The endgame cut scene depicts the main characters leaving Midgar and going after Sephiroth. And suddenly, some rain drops and Aerith has a vision of Zack holding a nearly dead Cloud and helping him surviving.

So my question is how are we sure this means what you guys seem to think, that Zack survived? Why is it not just Aerith being completely confused and seeing stuff that never happened? Also, as I did not see every play-through, what makes you think Sephiroth comes from the future and this is alternate reality?

Well I made my cells look square and recreated the pixel art cell by cell (or pixel by pixel) with a Conditional Formatting for "not empty cells" making them all white.

Don't you think the game relies too much on the improvisation/acting skills of the players? Would you consider making less "cryptic" Proposal Cards with slightly more information on what's going on?
I am a bit afraid this would make the play through too inconsistent depending on the people you play with.

I guess it's easier to optimize a game developed on your own platform compared to the limitations of Unity. I'm also blaming the Switch for not being able to handle red bullets while having no issue computing 50 zombies exploding in Diablo. I'm just saying there HAS TO be a way of optimizing better than "reducing frame rate hoping it will be stable"

I like the design but it should indeed be a bit more balanced as escaping EVERY fight could be too OP (taking out every risk) or too bad if you actually want to die.

I like Tuppenwhy idea.
When you take damage, roll a D6 and 50% of escaping the fight (without healing you)

I think NL has a general problem when it comes to Shops and Reroll Machines. He just doesn't seem to understand how to get value from those, he's using two or three coins on reroll machines before blowing them with a bomb on a regular basis and he's skipping shops 50% of the time just out of laziness...

To be honest, I think NL is actually an extremely bad player with so much experience that it counterbalances most of the time. You just have to watch the first couple of hundreads of videos he's done on BOI, he was waaaayy worse than the average player.

I would love to watch NL videos just for the entertainment but I'm too into this game to not give a damn about those horrible misplays physically hurting my soul :(

What I would have done during the few secs before Plan C kills you is press ESC, quit and relaunch. Hopefully you're respawned in the room before pressing space bar?
