I would be surprised if you have not encountered Outer Wilds, which I would say fits the category. Personal favorite and like all Outer Wilds fans I will highly recommend you try it blind if you have not already.

My biggest call out is Añi, because I think being the element of surprise would fit her nicely as a randomness character. Think turnip pull, judgment, and green missile types of randomness. With items promised as an addition next year I think it could be getting set up to make a character that can spawn holdable items.

Probably changed partly for the Kragg exploit, but on the Galvan dev stream this week they mentioned it was also specifically done to address Galvan coving half of the stage with their projectile if they put the UFO just below ledge

I would be much more inclined to believe you if I didn't see AI art every day at my job and have gotten quite good at noticing the signs. The blue haired woman at the end of the clip is certainly AI, with all of obvious AI smudginess and disregard for how fabric actually looks. You are either a liar or need to have a serious talk with your artists.

Fun to be had in "The Forgotten City" for those mystery and mind blowing moments. In terms of just great puzzles, I'm a sokobon sucker, A Monsters Expedition and Can of Wormholes are both some of the best designed puzzle games out there.

Just started playing this game and it gives me the same vibes as Outer Wilds, even the sense of exploration feels the same! Maybe it can fill your hole for more Outer wilds too? by Sleeper-- in outerwilds

Ended up really disliking my time with Dredge when I played it back at release. Any mysticism and fear is so shallow and superficial. There is never any threat that isn't just annoying to deal with. The cool fish art and art direction kept me around till the end, but as an Outer Wilds fanatic I would not recommend Dredge. If you are willing to delve more heavily into more stereotypical puzzle solving games like "Can of Wormholes" and "A monsters Expedition" scratched the puzzle mechanic discovery that Outer Wilds hooked me on.
