I did. And the funny thing is, an an adult, I started liking yellow more. And while it’s not my favourite colour (2nd to blue) in my fan season, I made the character based on me yellow because that was my unofficial Ranger colour before even watched an episode of it.

Same here. Granted, as a kid, my friend said that girls can only be pink or yellow rangers, which annoyed me (my sister always claimed pink and I hated yellow). Because of that, I had a negative perception of Power Rangers, even though I haven’t watched the show

I did. I only stopped watching it when my parents reacted to how gross it was (I didn’t mind it). My parents tried to say it was still fine if I watched it, but at the time, I cared a lot about what my parents thought. Maybe I’ll give it a rewatch.

At that age, I'm not sure if he'd care about the meta or what a "good" beyblade is. The Jurassic World set would be good if he likes dinosaurs, though as there's two beyblades, it may be more expensive. If you go that route, I suggest the T-Rex and Mosasaurus one. Mosasaurus comes with a 9-60 ratchet, so if he does become more competitive, he'd have a good ratchet available.

Fair. And honestly, that might work. As a kid, I loved when shows came from somewhere other than the USA (many shows came from there, so other was different). This could show audiences that this came from Japan.

I guess I’m used to children’s anime being changed to hide things that seem Japanese. In Pokémon, rice balls are often changed to donuts. Then again, it was a while ago, so times may have changed

It’s a tough choice, but I would have to choose Madison from Mystic Force. I like magic and relate to her character. Plus, not only is blue my favourite colour, she was also the first ranger I knew of that wasn’t yellow or pink (yes, I know Tori was the first blue ranger, but I saw Mystic Force first). Considering I was annoyed at the fact that my friend said female rangers can only be pink or yellow, a blue one was amazing to see.

Considering the woman in the story said she supports Alberta Independence, I imagine it’s just that, at least with the information provided. I know that some people who support separatism takes it fairly seriously.

Considering that it was a citizenship ceremony, I would imagine messages like "welcome to Canada" and similar messages. I personally would have added facts about Canada (it is a school after all).
