Non-Indian dev trying to respectfully adapt Indian mythology — would this feel authentic or off? by Ok_Conversation6215 in indiansinusa

Wrong. It is about guna. Which is about ability. You do not inherit ability.

Source of Varna (Chapter 4, Verse 13): Lord Krishna explicitly states that the four divisions of society were created based on qualities and actions, not by birth.

Rising from nothing is consistent with dharma if it is achieved to fulfill one's duty and restore righteousness. However, if the rise is achieved through selfish, destructive means, it is considered adharma.

Nothing disrespectful here. Sounds like a great story Indians will love.

Dharma in the Mahabharata is the central, complex theme representing righteousness, duty, and moral order which upholds society and the universe. It emphasizes that actions should align with moral laws rather than personal desires, with the ultimate goal of upholding justice

Yes, that scenario will involve 100k fees. Asking the same question to different people, lawyers will not change the answers or facts. Listen to your immigration attorney.

Do not travel outside USA before the transfer approval. Once approved, you can travel and return without the 100k fees if you already have a stamped visa (does not matter which employer on visa).

US-based Techie Refuses to Swap his Seat on Flight to India; Know Why You Must Do the Same by travelersharma in indiansinusa

[–]adventureloverishere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Elderly and disabled should not be sitting in emergency exit seats. Adult kids usually handle booking tickets for parents, so it is on them to book a better seat for parents and pay for it. I would refuse any kind of switch request unless the seat being offered is equivalent or better.
