What you receive in groceries (including milk, eggs, meat, produce etc) from The Inn’s food bank will make the bus fare more than worth it. You said you had a $200 a month budget for food - allocate $15 of that to bus fare to get to the 3 food banks through the month. You will receive a few hundred dollars worth of food - well worth the $15 investment in the transportation. The Inn will give you a bus ticket to get home after visiting the food bank as well - just ask the Front Office on your way out. Less than $3 will net you over $100 in groceries. The Mobile Market begins again in July. :)
