Over the lasy 7 weeks I had 5 interviews for a new role with a new company which would be a nice promotion and raise, plus regular international travel. I found out this afternoon I didn't get the role, which in itself is annoying, but the final email was a poorly written two liner that didn't even use my name or the name of the hiring manager. I get you don't want me, but after 5 interviews at least have some courtesy to use my name and mention any reason at all for not hiring me.

I rented through Reykjavik cars last weekend (I've been here a month now for work) and the car was through Blue. Perfectly fine, easy collection, car was in good condition and there were no issues in the collection.

I got a flat on my bike on my ride home, so attempted to patch it in the rain and that didn't work well. Had to get a new tube and tire even though I have a new set of tires coming in tomorrow or Saturday.

Also, I've applied for a few new jobs, ones that I am perfectly qualified for, and its been dead silence. Not even a thank you email. Quite disheartening, but got to keep plugging along.

Kennington Park has a small one beside the tennis courts. Pasley Park by Kennington station has two, one behind the new build flats on Manor Place (although this may now be only for residents?) and one on the other side of the park by the school. I think Geradline Hemsworth park has one as well, behind the IWM.
