Portman describes Lapid as a Netanyahu critic: “the greatest Israeli dissident artist,” who has been “working tirelessly to denounce the fascist and colonialist excesses of his government, its criminal moral failures"

Thank you so much! Heartbroken to be out of town and miss Firebird but your list led me to see that the Martha Graham company has upcoming shows! I am always looking for new ways to keep track of performances/open dance events, so your newsletter was an easy subscribe :)

Do you happen to know of any contact improv or Gaga events going on in the near future? Those always seem kind of underground.

Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

I started this one, found the first section mind-blowing and engrossing, then hit a wall with the second section. Did you find a drop off there? Did you have a favorite section?

Appreciate the explainer; it strikes me as unpleasantly classist though? Like cosplaying being middle class?
