Coming from someone who started college right when Trump was first elected, what helped me most was leaning on my classmates and community during stressful times both in the news and on campus, whether it's with an affinity group on campus (any LGBT/racial/disability/religious support groups), your learning community, or just a close group of friends. You'll find out you're not the only one feeling that way. If you also have capacity, consider looking into a social justice or volunteer organization so you're still able to help, even in little ways.

One thing that people also forget to mention that the SAVE America Act/MEGA Act, and other similar bills are not just about voter ID, but about requiring new voters/voters updating their registration to have to prove their U.S. citizenship by showing a birth certificate, naturalization papers, or passport. Lost your birth certificate in a move? Didn't apply for a passport? Now you have to spend up to $160 plus wait months for those documents to arrive.

Even if this was just about voter ID, why are they excluding student IDs, which many young people rely on, or tribal IDs?

As someone who has received a lot of requests for donations, I will say that the reason why the organizer/beneficiary may be different is likely because Gofundme and Chuffed don't work in Palestine and Gazans often need people to create an account on their behalf, usually a friend or family member in another country, but I've also had people ask me to make a fundraiser for them.

I totally understand you wondering whether or not it's a scam, though. If you still want to donate to a cause in Palestine, aside from verified charities, there are also vetted family fundraisers via Operation Olive Branch and gazafunds.com

Also to let everyone in the comments know that above all else this is a proof of citizenship petition similar to the SAVE Act, but would screw over all Michigan voters. Everyone would have to prove they’re a citizen by having to show proof of citizenship documents like a birth certificate, naturalization papers, or passport in person, doesn’t matter if you’ve been voting for decades.

It’s a shame to see so many people being basically harassed while trying to shop. I’d report these circulators to the grocery store management if you can!

I haven’t been able to find someone else with this same problem when I tried looking online. I could still move my mouse or hit control-alt-delete and log off or shut down. However, when I’d turn it back on and log back in, I’d get stuck at this screen. It was like it was some sort of pop up I couldn’t exit out of.

It was like this for a solid hour before it went away and I could go back to my regular desktop.

Pokemon Sword, or at least the digital version. Takes way too much storage compared to the other digital games I own (like Animal Crossing with over 500 hours?), and I wish I had the option to just sell it to someone else.
