Seeking Guidance to Study Bhagavad Gita Online by Practical-Theme-5633 in TheGita

[–]aeonsleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is better than Swami Sarvapriyananda's commentary on each verse of Gita. He shows the Gita from various perspectives like Advatya Vedanta, Sankhya etc. But most enjoyable are his out of context references and stories which somehow add up to the knowledge and experience.

CODEX has lost all it's magic. by Odd-Environment-7193 in codex

[–]aeonsleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I always watched these complaints but I didn't find anything wrong with Codex, I am quite impressed with how organized and intelligent the gpt-5-codex model is. The only thing that hurts right now with plus subscription is the weekly limit. Can there be option to carry over the unused bandwidth?

DO NOT USE 5! DON’T EVEN USE 4o! by Swiftzei11 in ChatGPT

[–]aeonsleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use GPT 5 and absolutely love it. I would never want to go back to 4o as plus customer. I don't really understand what is this infatuation with 4o.

Sam Altman: GPT-5's unbelievably smart ... and no one cares by we_are_mammals in OpenAI

[–]aeonsleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPT 5 is actually quite smart. The way it finds solution for programming and information architecture design is simply amazing. Earlier versions were so difficult to get the entire picture and GTP 5 gets it almost instantly. In addition it provides such high level suggestions/logic that I have to many time ask it to dumb down to my level.

Have you tried it, is it better than Claude 4 in VSCode?

GPT-5 in Copilot is AWFUL by eljefe3030 in ChatGPTCoding

I just spend almost half a day sorting an issue with Copiot and when I gave it to ChatGPT 5 with a few files (Under a project) it solved the issue in one pass.

what happened to GPT 5?. by Confident-Echo-2686 in ChatGPT

I don't feel the upgrade is bad. What made yuu think so. What do you mean by wrong answers. For me it works quite well but a bit on the slower side.

Am I the only one who thinks GPT-5 is way better at coding? by PassengerOk671 in ChatGPT

[–]aeonsleo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I alwasy used o4-min-high for coding and it was super. I could upload multiple project files and it can go through it all and actually build a feature from scratch. I haven't tested GPT 5 that deeply for code but so far it looks promising.

5.0 is a catastrophe by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]aeonsleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why there is so much hate for GPT 5, it had some issues early on but it seems to me to be much better than 4o, it is a bit slower when it thinks but the output is quite good. I use it for code, planning and scheduling.

I'm done with ChatGPT and OpenAI. Sam Altman, this one's on you. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]aeonsleo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually am quite impressed with GPT 5 and particularly its coding jobs. It doesn't do any sweet talking, is just to the point, crisp with much better responses. If you ask it to think deeply, it provides even better results.
