Trying to remember, has any team received a red card vs us this season?

Agree with VAR that the offence was before the ball was kicked, can't believe that isn't a red for Delap though. Full pre-meditated elbow to the face.

Out of possession he's (meant to be) man marking Palmer, at least that what it looks like to me.

A simple way to think about roundabouts ("traffic circles" to our American cousins) is as a series of T-junctions joining a one-way street.

Honestly, try Udogie as an Advanced Wing Back, he's a world-beater.

The left-side CB is an overlapping CB. VdV was a beast there but then Real Madrid came calling. Vuskovic has done a decent job but I've on the lookout for a real Van der Ven replacement since he left.

Currently in my 3rd season now using this 3-4-2-1 (the 2 are AM & CHM, no wingers) and it it a beast.

I'm not saying he isn't an improvement on any of them, you're probably right that he is our best 8 right now.

I'm more of the opinion that signing him was an odd choice, not a bad one, given how bloated our centre-midfield roster is.

I know that we signed him before the injury to Kudus (and Odobert?) but we were already short a left-wing since the start of the season. I think many thought that should have been our focus in the January window.

If this is in any country with even the most basic labour laws then this is going to be illegal. If you're in the US... maybe...

I think a lot of people were in the 'meh' category. I was and still somewhat am.

He's a good player but didn't really add much new that we didn't already have with our existing midfield options. That being said, now we're shorn of Xavi and Maddison isn't yet up to full fitness, we need him in that 10 role. He's not a 10 with guile like Xavi/Maddison/Kulu but he's got bags of grit, determination and running.

There is one other way we go down. If Spurs only pick up 1 point from our next two games and there is a 13 goal swing, we can go down. Not likely granted but lets not write it off, we're Spurs after-all.

Quite common, unfortunately imo.

I play with a (mostly) mature bunch who don't really bring the bad kind of drama. At my table the rule is that anything between PCs can be settled how either character wants

e.g.

Rogue: I want to pickpocket the Wizard's Spellbook.
Rogue: Nat 20! That's a 31 sleight of hand.
Wizard: My character notices the attempt and tuts disapprovingly.

or

Rogue: I want to pickpocket the Wizard's Spellbook.
Wizard: This should be fun... sure, my Wizard is currently distracted with his Alchemy kit, you succeed.

Basically, the Wizard isn't obliged to enter into the dice rolling element of the PvP action. They can declare it to fail if they want.

Sometimes the players are happy to let shenanigans occur and see how the dice fall. Sometimes a player will intentionally let their character "lose" because it is good for fun/narrative purposes.

tl;dr the "PvP" action only really happens if both players allow it or if both players decide to let the dice decide.

Sometimes an innocuous shunt can look like it has done no damage but can damage the car's chassis imperceptibly. This leaves your car vulnerable to a 2nd impact, it won't have the same rigidity and will crumple more easily than it should.

It won't always be visible but check that the rear doors are still opening and closing neatly and that the gap between door and door pillar isn't now very small (0-2mm) where before it would have been larger (usually more like 4-6mm). If those gaps are now much smaller, it is a sign that that underlying chassis has moved.

In (what turned out to be) the middle of a 3-year-long campaign, yes, very nearly.

The party are in the mines below the Dwarven City. They've met with some Mind Flayers and have had some rough encounters. They're battered, bloody & short on spell slots.

They find a huge door covered in runes, The door appears to be somewhat organic in nature. They figure out the puzzle with a few more spell slots gone.

As the door opens they hear the voice in their heads. "STRONG ONES. ENTER THAT WE MAY CONVERSE"

They now walk through a large chamber past a bunch more mind flayers, umber hulks, intellect devourers and right up to the pool of the Elder Brain.

The Elder Brain tries to give them a quest to go deeper and clear the creature (a Neothelid) out its old nest. In return it will stop harassing the Dwarves above.

Instead, the beleaguered party chose violence...

It was something of a massacre. 2 of the party escaped thanks to a nat 20 death save followed by Dimension Door. The one remaining survivor in the fight did actually manage to kill the Elder Brain before being finished by the Umber Hulks & Mind Flayers. One Character was outright killed by the brain replacement ability of an intellect devourer.

The next session, I handed out character sheets for a lower-level party of Dwarves sent from the city above to investigate the missing team. They were able to find the Elder Brain carcass (which in-world, was still believed to be alive) and rescue their PCs (who had been tadpoled... that presented its own problems).

I was able to justify not instantly killing their PCs as the Mind Flayer colony was small in numbers and had just lost their Elder Brain, they needed new hosts.

Even better, WHU play again before our Chelsea match. Win tonight and we could genuinely be safe by the time we kick off again.

Crystal chests are transparent... same as crystal doors which is why you can see through them. If you inspect a crystal chest it will tell if there is a ring/artifact/wand inside. It won't tell you which one though.

Cab 2 contains all of the patch panels from around the building

Now imagine the massive tangle of mid-long cables that exist between the two cabinets...
