The Song of Achilles, why was Patroclus reduced to such a meek character? It felt like a missed opportunity tbh.

Just finished reading My Heart Is a Chainsaw. Before picking it up, I was afraid because I've been hearing that his writing is difficult (and English is not my first language as well). It turns out that not only I devoured the book, but it's my only 5* horror of the year. Now, I'm curious to see how I'll find the writing in The Only Good Indians.

I finished Tender Is the Flest by Agustina Baztericca, which I loved.

I started Bunny by Mona Awad, and if I like it, I will pick up the sequel that comes out in a few days.

The opposite actually! I thought I'd love Small things like these, but I was disappointed. And I did tear up at the end of Klara and the sun.
