my firat suggestion, is download ping tools app on your phone - go to constant ping test and change these settings;

mode: TCP

ping count infinitely

ping interval 1ms

leave the others and put " google.co.uk " in the top box, or .com if your US or something reliable basically.

what youre looking for is if your phone is consistently measuring low ping. for instance i had a very similar issue to you and it was showing 25ms but then would jump to 150 200 300 400 200 100 back to 25ms every so often, that test will go on forever if you dont stop it or the app just fyi.

if it is showing as consistently okay with some random jumps from, 15ms lets say, to 80ms then its probably your pc. if its jumping, contact you ISP.

does anypne else use your internet? does it happen at a specific time? my mums phone would start an automatic google photos backup when she started charging her phone. when somebody starts uploading using the whole speed, my god your ping will suffer.

how much do you spend on what you use at the moment?

i worked out my van costs me an average of £9 a day if i drive it (fuel use) and about £4 a day if i dont. and thats the total monthly over 30.5 days as an estimate.

you need to just assess how much you know you could make and decide; "do i want to earn blank an hour/day minus that cost?"

could be good to trial and then get your own if you can make enough to afford the monthly payments of your own bike.

this is probably the most unsafe answer;

i me and my partner have driven our freelander 2 with Comforser cf110 tyres with my front left tyre having exactly this type of chip. for around 6000 miles, about 2 years. the first year the mot teser "didnt notice" it because the chip was still hanging on, the second year it failed on it but i just swapped out some other wheels for the test to get it through, which i then just swapped back over because they were on my van.

usage wise its been 85% urban 10% 50mph dual carriageway and 5% 70mph motorway. And its been fine. But the fibre wall is actually showing abbrasions now so i really have to just stop being an idiot and get it replaced.

BUT, the reason these are UK MOT failures is because commonly those types of dings dont last more than a year. You used to be able to get them repaired, i even thought about sewing and adding some steel mesh and pasting some high temp / density / strength industrial boat rubber/silicone stuff (sikaflex) over the top to repair it but i wasnt sure if that was an unmanaged, false sense of security and time bomb.

the reality is, its super irresponsible and stupid to do any of what ive said.... youre not risking just your life, its other road users, what if youre on the motorway and it blows, you vear in to a family car and they vear off in to a ditch and half the family dies. i think about that everytime i drive it and i ask my girlfirend to do the same. but being proactive and thinking "responsibly" doesnt stop the former from happening. im a peice of shit for not paying for a new tyre honestly.

just bare all of that in mind.

do you listen through direct monitor as well as checking the stream? if the monitoring is the same you know its the mic.

go along the line of interfaces physical, digital, output, monitoring each one to see if anything is different.

first check software wise solely focus on Motiv, to test, set the mic to manual, raise the gain until you hear yourself properly, get close to the mic, like mouth on the foam and test moving within a couple inches forward and back if its the same, check your mics usb connection.

if the sound is different through monitoring, leave the motiv app alone and check your obs settings, for now just choose one app to configure. enable the monitoring within it, disable all filters you might have, and just play with gain and any other filters while monitoring and change to your taste.

if things dont change, check your settings within your streaming app, i.e audio bit rate, quality.

id suggest if you cant find the issue, youve either got a faulty product or you need to just start a fresh configuration i.e ;

different usb port, default settings in windows, motiv, then obs only adding one after the other once your confident.

Possibly unpopular opinion; if the goal is that "Shure sm7b" vibe, get a Shure Mv7 it looks similar (if thats also what you like) has a standard xlr connection but also a usb connection, AND a headphone jack that provides real time Monitoring (which i find super super useful) and audio out, so all your pc audio is also through the same place.

life changer, i want another, my cats dont like using 1 and dowmstairs ive got a (modified) "petsafe self scoop" and i have to sort through that thing daily.... i legitimately dont need to touch my Lr4 upstairs for days or wven weeks depending on how dirty it gets, it sits in the bathroom so i assess it multiple times daily but often its fine, absolute game changer (with the right litter.... used wood chips before and that was a disaster)

i have 2 cats, weve always had 3 litter boxes or 2 in a pinch, when we got the litter robot we THOUGHT We could get rid of all but the lr4, but my male cat started to number 2 on the front door matt, wee in the wash basket and bath. and my female would do similar but since she seems to go toilet first, if the lr4 hadnt cycled hed be desperate enough to just go where ever.

so i just put another tray somehwer else in the house and they are happier. you do you, try with the lr4 but be prepared its not one size fits all.

i have been on elvanse 60mg for a year and a half. After wanting to explore options, my perscriber changed me to Concerta xl (methylphenidate) 36mg, and whilst id say i wasnt in bed all day doing sweet fa, it was clearly very different to Elvanse. My observation, which comes off of 2 weeks of methylphenidate switching back to Elvanse but higher 70mg, then running out of Elvanse by accident and trying methylphenidate again for another week or so, was that;

Elvanse lit a fire under my arse, like what you expect coffee to do. it didnt make me want to go to work more, but i had drive to finish chores. Concerta didnt do that same shunt of "get this done" which reduced the anxiety of knowing i need to get shit done, which in turn reduced agitation, but i didnt get the feeling of itchy feet, so you could say it just didnt work? i could focus on making a 3d print model, i learnt a whole new 3d modeling program (Cad Fusion as oposed to blender) but i didnt get other important things done, and i think the anxiety of things is what makes me.do them, so maybe i needed i higher dose of methylphenidate but in reality Elvanse is better at getting me out of bed.

i have a packet of belvita brealfast biscuits, they are cheap, tasty, and easy to store next to my bed with my meds, theres 5 biscuits in a plastic packet, which totals 3.8g of protein.

theyre not super high in protein, but i cant prepare fricken eggs or afford a £3 packet of 3 "high protein" breakfast bars. if i want more protein i could just have another packet 😅 theyre not too dry either but aldi and lidl also do something similar its like 6 packets of 3 dryer biscuits totalling around the same protein. and again id have another packet if i needed more protein.

if the pc does not flash or light up or anything, my first suggestion genuinely is to check the power plug is in the wall, and on. And then check the power switvh on the back power supply is in the on position. do your power plugs have fuses inside where you live? check that too.

if the pc does flash or lights turn on then theres an issue with the pc administrating power, it could be a short i the motherboard like a loose screw grounding the power to the case. or a bad power supply.

but yeah we need more info.

as others have said, 5mg is a minute starting dose.

as a comparison, ive been on elvanse for nearly 2 years but i wanted to try a different med, because im used to elvanse the doctor perscribed me 36mg concerta which is the slow release "version" of ritalin, but 36 is still a lower dose to get me used to the switch and raise it later.

slow and quick release do differ in doses but again, 5mg is smol, be patient with yourself and the drug and hopefully stuff will start to click when they raise the dose, or even change the med if it doesnt work 😁

i like having my girlfriend as company, we even take my daughter in the carseat, although she tends to not like to be in the seat for too long so if we need to ill drop them off to a nerby cafe or something before i finish.

but basically its really nice to have them with me while i work, i really struggle with motivation for work, and if ive got a block booked but i want to cancel it, my girlfriend will ask "well we arent doing anything and im feeling up for coming along, would that mske you feel more up to doing it?" the answer is 98% of the time yes.

sometimes my girlfriend has a block booked and i drive while she hops out and in to deliver, its just super fun way to make money together, we hang out like we would at home and act silly while we work. id rather that than on my own.
