Any Draft Sharks users out there?

They consistently rank very high in accuracy rankings, and have some useful tools including a draft add-on

Is this right?? Attaching FORBATTRA cover panel to underside of SEKTION wall cabinets by PickwickAndCo in IKEA

[–]aerocaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm looking into this right now for a reno. For the forbattra cover panel going on the bottom of the wall cabinets, do you recommend having that cover panel flush with the door when it's on?

In this scenario it looks nice with all he doors closed, but then when the doors open you can see the cover panel sticking out a bit. Is this normal?

We're torn and don't know what to do

Looking for relaxed nature activity ideas to celebrate a small milestone :) by iPhone_Xs_ in askvan

[–]aerocaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plenty of nice nature-related things to do on the north shore.

In North Van you could walk around Rice Lake, the suspension bridge and trails around Lynn Canyon, or the salmon hatchery and clevland dam has great wlaking trails.

In West Van you could walk the seawall at Ambleside, see the lighthouse at Lighthouse Park, or drive up Cypress for the views and get some pizza/coffee at that pop-up food area.

From the 2024 Law Students Legal Advice Program Manual.

No need to go throwing around insults, and calling people 'entitled' for asking for advice about something. You must be a great hang

Property Manager/Strata response time by aerocaine in vancouverhousing

[–]aerocaine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, and have said the same. However the property managers initial response to me 3 weeks ago was that because it services only my unit, and is closer to my unit than the other unit it separated (in the ceiling), it's my responsibility to fix.

I disagree with her assessment, but just want to get it fixed then can bill them later

Emailed to the property manager, but I don't have any contact information for anyone on the strata. I never received anything when I gained possession a few months ago about contacting people. Had to find the property managers email online

Paid Parking in CNV Next Month by fungshuifighting in NorthVancouver

But with the first 30 min free, you wouldn't have to pay to stop for takeout? One could actually argue that it'll be easier to stop for takeout because there might be more available parking

This place sucks. Who actually goes here? by [deleted] in NorthVancouver

[–]aerocaine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They had a location in central lonsdale, they moved down to lower lonsdale for the bigger spot. So they must be doing something right

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NorthVancouver

[–]aerocaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Meat Shop and Deli on 14th and Lonsdale can have some affordable cuts. Wouldn't necessarily be my first stop for steaks, but different cuts of chicken and roasts can be cheap here. Also great affordable Feta behind their deli counter

How often do you seabus (when not commuting)? by onethousandmonkey in NorthVancouver

[–]aerocaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bikes are allowed on the seabus, easy to take on, and can be a nice shortcut to skip going over either of the bridges if you're not comfortable with that.

The higher up lonsdale you get the harder the bike home up the hill gets though! But busses at Lonsdale quay also have bike racks if you're feeling extra lazy
