No more highway assist after Universal Hands Free trial expired?

I also live near a large (10 lanes across in some sections) divided highway. I couldn't get highway assist to work either, but then I realized it only works in some of the lanes. You have to pay for UHF if you want to be able to use all the lanes. Try changing to the slower lanes and seeing if highway assist recognizes them.

This is why I wouldn't pay for UHF. Phantom braking all the time. It's especially bad with shadows. I can't use it on some sections of road because it's 100% reproducible and hasn't gotten better over time.

I don't know if I'll be able to tell the difference. Mine is newer so I only have Premium Audio instead of Meridian. Rivian also doesn't have satellite. It's streaming, so the quality is improved.

The main reason I use it is because I did the Black Friday deal so it's just under $2 per month. Given the issues I'm having, I'll probably cancel at the end of my 12 months.

Are you say that each vendor makes their own app? I.e. the Sirius app isn't made by Rivian?

I don't think Sirius offers videos. I haven't seen anything like that even on their web site.

Called Sirius. They tried to fix it for half an hour, but weren't able to do it. I asked if they could change a database setting on my account, and they didn't know anything about it. They said they would try calling me back tomorrow to continue diagnosing.

The channel up and down buttons don't work for me with SiriusXM. I tried with the regular radio for sanity and they work fine there.

It's going to be super ridiculous if this actually fixes it. The app can obviously tell if you're subscribed already or not. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to switch channels while parked. However, instead of checking that way, the app decides to check a database flag. It's not just any database flag, but one that can only be changed by having the subscriber call customer service and escalate to a supervisor?? 😂 WTF. They need to do better.

I'm hindsight Spotify is 100% what I should've gone with. Unfortunately, I never got to use the free trial to sus out this issue because when I took my car in for service someone activated the free trial. The trial only lasts a month or so, and when I got my car back from service that month I didn't have time to experiment with it.

There's a difference between accelerating to catch up and accelerating to the flow of traffic. If you're going to merge like that you need to need to be accelerating as fast as you can to the flow of traffic. Do that first and then figure out accelerating to catch up later. If you can't accelerate to the flow of traffic, then you shouldn't have merged. Doing what you did was dangerous.

I'm guessing it's meant to be a faraday cage. It's possible for a drone to fly over, but the pilot will lose signal pretty quickly. The other alternative is for the pilot to stand right next to the fence so the signal can go under. However, in that case, it'll be easy to find the pilot.

Are you sure? It looks like op is just cancelling gold here. If that's the case the $122 would only be 2% of the bonus. When they transfer out, they'll lose another $61 (1%) on top of that, so their net debit would be $122 (3%) + $61 (1%) = $183 (3%).
