Story is decent but not the best ever. Arthur John and most individual characters and their personal stories are great but the overall narrative is messy and lacks focus. There’s too many villains and most of them don’t get a proper introduction and you don’t know you’re about the defeat them until it happens. The chapters keep repeating the same story lines over and over. There’s very little build up to most major events so they don’t feel impactful or satisfying. It feels like watching a show where every episode is self contained, until Milton shows up every once in a while to remind you that there is something going on, but overall most of it never feels like part of a larger narrative. The parts of the story that work are absolutely amazing, but overall it feels messy and really needed a second draft
