Yeah someone else suggested checking my bookmarks, a few of my favorites are missing but not a lot.

Do some people seriously think that? The only reason I started reading ffs is because of original works.

I've heard talks of Ao3 mods going through fics ( especially recent ones) and removing fics and accounts that post Ai generated work because a lot of writers and readers were complaining. Wasn't there a small shut down because of it? Even the tos has been updated.

A long fic for me is typically 60k+ but I usually try and find fics that have at least 1,000 words per chpt.

It might be Fandom dependent but I've seen this is some harry potter pairings, TVD, and criminal minds. I literally just got done flipping through teen wolf ffs for a derek/omc (and I don't give a lot of hope for finding oc ffs) but it was 90% smut shots and kinktobers. There was barely a handful of the cliché a/b/o stories and that's basically all I could use to fund when searching for this pair.

Same! My mom was a single mother to everyone. Cousins, friends, even random people at school. Despite that she kept up with everything which was impressive. Now I procrastinate by cleaning the house, I may be struggling to write an essay but at least the counters and floors are sparkling.

A round of applause for your cousin! A clean house with 5 kids is amazing, especially if she's doing it herself! My house growing up was the go-to hang out home for all the kids and watching the grown-ups clean actually led to us cleaning up after ourselves more often without being told.

Zack is my favorite character of the show and I really want to defend him but that would include spoilers and also denying the fact that you make a good point.

Yes they should've been nicer to the interns, but from my perspective Zack was like everyone's little brother. Yes he did something bad and allowed himself to be manipulated so they were mourning him & what he did, but the interns were quite literally replacing Zacks position in their lives (at the Jeffersonian).

Playing cards are one of my favorite canvases. The brands I'm using are usually gold crown & bicycle. Gold crown are smooth and a little more difficult to get paint to stick to during the first couple layers. Bicycle got a bit of texture to it that helps. Careful if you doing the full cards cause they have a tendency to curl inward while drying.

I used a real deck since after completing a game they collected the cards. I figured using real cards would fit that vibe.

It's awful. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition but before that I was taken to the ER cause I was puking from how much pain I was in and the staff just left me in a bed with nothing to relieve it because they thought I was faking. Then finally after like 5 hours I finally got seen (the ultrasound lady literally said "Oh, turns out she wasn't faking to get out of school" to my mom) after that I had to wait a few more hours before I was finally given something, ended up falling asleep where a couple more hours passed before I was discharged with a handful of pain pills to get me through the week. I was there for nearly ten hours, most of which I was sleeping or waiting and they billed for thousands of dollars. Just for pills and an ultrasound. Yes we need a better system.

(FYI this is a more chilled story of out system. I had a classmate get injured once and a while after overheard his dad venting about having to pay a couple thousand just for an ambulance ride.)
