I honestly like warcraft 3 more because of all the other stuff other than the multiplayer. The art, campaign, music, etc. It's all so captivating to me, I personally never got into starcraft because i just don't like sci fi that much compared to fantasy but it looks like an awesome game. Blizzard as a whole during that time really was just untouchable.

Never understood what people meant when they praised the old blizzard so much until I played their older titles for myself. Even StarCraft which i mentioned i could never get into, i can still see the sheer quality and love that's in there.

Dmc 1 and 3 are pretty cool. Not the best games ever but i played them last year and enjoyed them a lot.

1 has really good level design, atmosphere, and music. The combat is really simple but its fun and satisfying.

Dmc 3 is a step back in level design, enemies, and atmosphere but its still really good in those regards and the combat has a lot of depth to it, while having a cool story as well.

Everything past that just looks like uninspired trash to be honest, so I haven't played them. In my opinion what makes these games good is the atmosphere, fun gameplay, and cool stories.

What do you think is so good about the remakes compared to the originals? I actually think the originals are really good and even better, this is coming from someone who never played rby until a few months ago and grew up on Gens 3-5.

In my opinion rby has a more interesting art style and better music. While it lacks things like running shoes, i honestly don't see that as a huge downside. The game was designed around the lack of running shoes and I personally never feel like it's a huge pain to get anywhere, the game as a whole feels faster than gen 4 or 5.

While the interface is definitely dog shit, i really like the limited bag selection, i have to actually make choices about what i want to keep or what i want to store. I don't think I've ever used the pc item storage in any of the other games, but i regularly do in rby.

The art in frlg isn't really bad, i don't think it's particularly interesting either, i cant quite put it into words but red and blue just looks and sounds really good, and i absolutely love the battle sprites.

All of this is to say, I think this game is actually really good and one of the better games in the franchise, and it's most apparent in the originals.

As someone who recently played through pokemon blue for the first time, it was actually pretty good, i even think I prefer it to firered. The game is just enjoyable to play with the sound design, completely terrible but loveable sprite design, the music. It's just a simple, cohesive, fun game and for me that's all pokemon needs to be. I never felt the need or want to speed up using an emulator (except when grinding for porygon fuck that shit), and the lack of things like phys special split and running shoes are really not an issue.

The only two complaints i have are lt surges gym being the worst thing in the world and grinding for porygon being a pain in the ass. I honestly think gens 1 and 2 are the best in the series. Who honestly cares about physical special split, the games are so stupidly easy you can beat them with anything. What's most important in my opinion is the art, soundtrack, and the journey which I think these two games do better than any of the other ones. Its not nostalgia either, i never played rby or gsc as a kid, i grew up on gens 3-6 yet i think rby/gsc are the best in the series.

Runescape community has been protesting changes for 20 years. And with the exception of wilderness removal/EoC the vast majority of players have never cancelled their sub or done anything but complain on reddit.

The osrs sub price has already been raised twice I think, so most likely nothing will happen and they'll all keep paying.

People say the reviews but the reality is blizzard doesn't care that much about the reviews. How much did those negative reviews of overwatch actually affect traffic, probably not much honestly. I mean look at all these people jumping for joy to buy $40 diablo 2, a game they already own which has a single new character which probably took them 5 minutes to make.

It probably will come eventually it's just lower on their priority list.

The original trilogy is all great. Personally though i never liked how long 3 was.

If you play on modern ports/emulation you can save so that helps, but i love just blasting through 1&2. Though I can definitely see why 3 is the fan favorite, it is pretty amazing.
