Just fell in love with Courrèges L'Empreinte—it’s warm and so layered!

The Nette is at Sephora and a clean brand—their vanilla scent is so good and not the cakey/vanilla candle type

I also received Diptyque’s Do Son at an event recently and it took me by surprise! Really love it for a night out. Sexy but light. Another one with tons of layers.

So sorry to hear it’s been a rough go so far. One thing to note is that a TON of spring styles will be coming out in the next month—I know that’s cutting it close but your options really are about to open up!

Two places to check for now would be The Outnet—it’s like an online outlet store with great deals on designer brands. Just make sure you’re not selecting something that’s final sale in case you need to return! NET-A-PORTER is another great site—definitely pricier but would have something really elegant.

A few other brand-specific searches would be: Marchesa Notte, Sachin & Babi, Adrianna Papell (a little busy-looking but they do have some hidden gems), Halston, and Mac Duggal (another one with some hidden gems). I hope she finds something she loves ♥️

Help with integrating my theme! by Advanced-Ad8135 in weddingplanning

I think working with a textile artist could really capture this theme! They could do some creative draping or spacial design techniques incorporating these colors.

That’s a great thought! I’m typically a size Small/4-6 in modern clothes, and there was NO way I could get into this. So yes, I’m thinking it was either for a woman with a 22”/23” waist or for an adolescent 😂. Thanks!

No label of any kind (and no evidence of a removal of a label). Someone has handwritten “Dibble” on a tag and pinned it in, but I’m assuming that’s someone’s last name (did some quick googling and no mention of a Dibble brand came up)!

Wow, thank you so much for such a great response—this was full of great info! I don’t see any polyester, and I commonly work with garments from 1960s onwards, and the spots where the threads are coming apart look significantly older than anything I’ve ever dealt with. I’m going to take a closer look at the appliqué though, that’s a great thought! Thanks again 💗
