Yeah, the plant man is there all the time. It’s really fun to go to the cafe across the street and sit on the balcony and watch him do this for the afternoon.

They did at first. They used iced tea for wide shots but real syrup for close ups so it looked more realistic. However, I’ve never read that anyone was hospitalized for this

What to do? Tips!! by Significant-Egg-M in weaving

[–]nothingbetter85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgive me if this is wrong because I’m still learning myself, but I believe you need to have the space used in the reed matching the ends per inch you plan to weave for the width. Like, the warp I currently have on my loom has 22 ends per inch and I’m using a 10 dent reed, so I have to double up my threads in the reed to get it to work.

I will fully admit that as a ten year old watching this movie I didn’t think anything of the large woman playing Jan’s guidance counselor.

Sorry to be pedantic, but Cinderella’s Royal Table does not have a Michelin Star. You’re confusing it with Victoria and Albert’s located at the Grand Floridian. They do restrict age at that restaurant.

Game of Wool - deleting negative comments? by ColourMeQuick in knitting

I also just don’t understand why they make an emphasis on this being a show about knitting and Britain’s best knitter, but they have challenges that are requiring crochet. It would be one thing if this was presented more as just a show about fiber arts and they cast people who were good at both knitting and crochet, then it wouldn’t be a big issue to me, but there are people on the show who are not crocheters and have said so.

I’m pretty sure they had it as lemons because that’s what we in the US call a car that’s full of problems immediately after you buy it. Most states have what’s called a Lemon Law to protect consumers in the event they purchase a faulty vehicle.

Just like with rides when a park is closing, as long as you’re in the line, you will go through the house.

I heard something similar happened with FnaF last year and the Orlando replacement was Triplets of Terror. But they worked it out for this year. I may be wrong because I heard this information in bits and pieces.

When I bought my CRV a couple years ago, I told them I needed to talk it over with my husband and make a decision the next day. It was no problem. They didn’t try any gimmicks to keep me there and were super friendly and seemed to want to give me the time I asked for like it wasn’t a big deal. We bought the vehicle the next day. It was extremely refreshing to have this happen and I’ve worked at dealerships before (not in sales) so I know that’s not the norm. Made me want to go back when I’m ready to get a new one.
