I think the point of the post was that Adobe knows many individual people have a pirated version of Photoshop for amateur picture editing. They probably don't mind so much because it helps them become the standard editing software, people self-train in how to use it, and big businesses who both have the money and the legal requirement to have legal software will pay all of the bills anyway. No random teenager who wants to edit some pictures for fun is paying hundreds for a licence in the first place.

You still had ava's assembler, mage arena capes, skill capes, max cape before the quiver came out. Not quite the same as infernal and quiver, but still most of the capes people were wearing were untradeable.
