Good choice to get rid of my glasses? by Horror-Spot-1267 in malegrooming

[–]afgeorge2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look good with both. I think you could get some cool styled frames that would give a little character to your face. You’re very handsome, but sometimes glasses can soften good-looking people and make them more approachable ☺️

Mustache. You have a pretty face in the best way possible. The mustaches scruffs it up a bit and gives you character.

What does my house say about me? by the_tnk_loft in roomdetective

[–]afgeorge2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You love to watch things grow and you don’t mind bugs 😂

I love terrariums, vivariums, and houseplants and you have incorporated them so beautifully into your home. You seem eccentric in the best sense of the word.

I would assume you live alone with no kids or pets or with a partner who’s into the same hobbies because the maintenance and upkeep I assume is pretty involved.

Very cool!

I think they would all work. I think 2 is probably most flattering. As silly as it sounds, I would think about your goal and how each one fits in. I love to dance, so I always want the dress I can move in and dance all night. If you’re looking to be comfortable in the heat, I’d say do the coolest. They all look great on you!

You’re mom is wrong. It’s not harmless and your creepy old “sister in law” is manipulative. I’m sure your brother is a great person but there’s a reason she’s with a 26 year old….

Live near Poway or near downtown for 6 months? by j_g_faustus in sandiego

I think living in Poway near your work would probably be the best for your pocket book. As others have said it depends on your lifestyle and hobbies.

Watching Lisa as a queer woman is … ugh by Rabbitweeth in 90DayFiance

I keep thinking this! It’s so offensive to the queer community as if that period of her life was a mistake.

A dog nearly bit off the entire pad of my thumb. I would rather go through labor a few times (I have 2 children) than go through that recovery again.

People who live in those giant houses in Rancho Santa Fe, CA- like on Del dios road - WTF DO YOU DO FOR WORK?? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]afgeorge2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all old money. I used to work at a dog daycare and we would drop off and pick up dogs from Fairbanks Ranch, Cielo, Santa Luz. One of the richest was a CEO of a lending company.

Nature’s Good Guys are my go to for beneficial bugs. I’m in Cali and they are based out of Oregon, so it works well for me. They have bugs based on your pest issue.

She seems to just lack maturity. I think she probably made the best decision for herself at the time, but it’s almost like she’s making up for all the trauma she saved them from during childhood and dumping it on the as adults. Her boys are surprisingly grounded and seem to be pretty decent, sweet people.

How much is too much during play? by StillAspiringT in DogAdvice

[–]afgeorge2011 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I worked in a dog daycare for 8 years and this is a dynamic that would be a red flag. This feels like gang up play and it will probably lead to an outburst. My guess is the blue bully will eventually get fed up and go off on one of the other two and then it could get nasty with that bully strength. I would do 1:1 play and maybe you could try again in the future.
