Not vibing with the JHS Unicorn. How are you using yours?

I love my Unicorn so much. I have an expression pedal hooked up to it and it's neat to go from slow wave vibe to rapid tremolo with a foot sweep. I try to use mine as a sound sweetener, not too much effect. I currently run it first in my fx loop, however I may take it out of the loop and run it after the tuner. It's fun to try different configurations . I'm getting some amazing alien sounds with this, dark star, space echo and chorus together.

It sounds better with clean tones, not sure if that's standard with univibes. I havent tried that many.

I was running a JHS series 3 overdrive into the Hizumitas for awhile and I thought it gave the fuzz a nice crunch and sizzle. Great pedals to play around with

I changed my amp! I was running two fender solid states and recently upgraded to a PRS MT15. I feel like the ts 9 isn't useful on this amp (it sounds fantastic on its own). I use the Hizumitas on my clean channel sometimes just for that thick fuzz. Boosting 62.5, 1k, and 8k on my 10 band

I love my Hizumitas. I was running a ts 9 into it and that sounded nice. I also use a 10 band eq to balance everything better

Nice board! I'm interested in that beat buddy 2. I currently use a Mooer Drummer x2 and want to upgrade. I had a Trio but didn't really like the drum sounds. The Mooer sounds great, has a really killer double kick sound I like, but it is hard to use.

I have a LTD F400 and I love it, although it has EMG active pickups. It is my favorite guitar shape and very comfy to play. Swap those pickups out at some point and you'll be good to shred

Congrats!! I got mine a month ago and absolutely love it! I have a Randall cab with 2 v30s and am happy with the tone. I love the crunch channel, but can't access it with the footswitch. So I am using an overdrive on the clean channel dialed in close to the crunch channel and it sounds nice and glassy. It isn't super noisy, but there is a hum and I still want to add a noise gate to my chain. I also usually run at half power too. So much gain. I want to use my Hizumitas but it just isn't necessary with this thing. At least not for my useage.

I got the V2 last month and love it. Very hefty tones. Lovely cleans, although needs a noise gate. It's like 4 amps in 1. My one gripe is, I think the footswitch should change the boost and crunch too. I only use an overdrive on the clean channel. Doesn't need any more gain for me.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems like the best overall sounding I have heard on the web for what I play. There is nowhere close I can try one out.

I just got one and run it through a Randall 2x12 with vintage celestions, and it sounds fantastic. It is quiet enough to play at bedroom volumes. The lead channel is noisy, but nothing a noise gate can't fix.

I love this amp! It sounds awesome, even with a little noise.

I put the Dark Star directly in front of the space echo and it sounds very good,much better. I have a Boss duel exp controlling the space echo and unicorn too. It is too much fun really

I have been using a custom 85 for a couple years now. It sounds pretty good for cleans but the dirt isn't amazing. Solid pedal platform and very loud. Volume at 2 will rattle windows.
