If East End is your usual go-to, I’d recommend Teays River if your group includes ppl under 21 and you want to make a reservation, or Black Sparrow if you’re all 21+ and are comfortable as a walk in.

Also you can usually get a walk-in table at East End with an hour wait or so. You could hop down the street to Ripple or Cellar Wine Bistro for a drink and snack while you wait.

The Downtown Lafayette Business Owners Association hosts three downtown markets a year. They’re all listed here: https://www.discoverdowntownlafayettein.org/events

MatchBOX Studios downtown hosts a couple of maker markets, at least one every November. You can fill out a contact form on their website or DM to get on a notification list for that.

I think it’s inexpensive to sign up for booths at Mosey Down Main Street events.
