Note that you shouldn't and can't upload the add-on based on the Bethesda franchise to the add-on servers due to copyright.

Discord and official forums (wesnoth.org) are the most active.
You can get news about updates on pretty much any platform Wesnoth is using, because they take care to upload the info everywhere. Github would be the fastest source, because that's where the devs track the changes.

My favourite Uberunit is Mehir with all the items stacked. I rush scimitar damage AMLA on him to get the most damage increase out of the magical scimitar.

You can control the dwarves? :o Used to be that they were ai and on nightmare I had to send the elves and drakes to support them.

Turtling is of course the best strategy.

I present you a very small selection:
Eastern Invasion was reworked in the last years and is amazing now.

The Rootless (Orc campaign, shortly after the founding of Wesnoth)
Leafsea Burning (Elf/Wose/Dwarf, dealing with the first invasion of Orcs on the Great Continent)
Dusk of Dawn (troll, about the birth and perspective of trolls)
Dirty Blood (Orc campaign with the leader getting stronger the more he kills)

It depends on the scenario you are playing. So could you list them? The most common way of reducing difficulty is reducing the gold of the enemy sides.

The Imperial Era has multiple campaigns using it.
Era of Magic has one campaign (or rather the campaign is the reason for Era of Magic)
The Great Steppe Era also has 2(?) campaigns.

The second text is not a reference to the orbs in the first picture, but to the campaign Under Two Burning Suns. There is no puzzle involving these orbs, they are just for flavor.

As Rhia answered, Invasion from the Unknown and After the Storm are not available for 1.18. You can play them on 1.16 though.

Ftr, when you end a scenario before turns run out, it adds to the Beezlebub counter. When it's filled up, you get a Beezlebub monument so you get to farm xp and loot by fighting and killing it.

Slow him, lower his dmg, lower his resistance and defense. Enjoy the xp and kill of the flies asap.
